I have been receiving therapy from Lexi at TetraNeuroNet for better then two years…read more Prior to going to her I had little to no knowledge of the various healing modalities Lexi utilizes such as: qEEG Brain Mapping, Neurofeedback, LENS (low energy neurofeedback), PEMF (pulsed electro magnetic field therapy), BIO-MAT, photon stimulation and more. Personally I have struggled for years with depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, addiction and complicated grief. My life was extraordinarily bleak having lost my son to suicide, contemplated suicide daily myself and having exhausted many other avenues for healing. I sought help from Lexi at TetraNeuroNet. QEEG brain mapping helped identify over and under reactive parts of my brain and parts of it that continue have a reverb because of my own life's traumas. With the information received from the qEEG brain mapping Lexi and I developed a personalized treatment plan that has been truly remarkable. Lexi sat and bared witness to my pain. She kept me staying the course of working to heal my thoughts and my brain. She did this sometimes by just listening and offering helpful suggestions, teaching me tools to use myself or by administering array neurofeedback and brain training modalities. I now have an arsenal of tools such as HeartMath, Havening and EFT techniques which I can use any time to help myself. Lexi's wide array of holistic and clinical modalities have helped me rewire my brain and reactivate parts of it that haven't been engaged. This has allowed me to handle many of my emotional life triggers and improve my cognitive and psychological functioning. Lexi has become a godsend to me plan and simple. I have come to realize I am not stuck with the brain I have. It is changing. Through time, effort, practice and patience I can change my story and hopefully help others along the way. Lexi has been an integral partner in my journey to heal. She has helped me to become whole again, or perhaps whole for the first time.

I regret having to write this review but am doing so in the interest of those that are considering…read moretreatment with this woman. Dr. Amalathas nearly cost me my life. I began seeing her for treatment of depression. She immediately took me off of two drugs that I had been on, while I was unsure that it was wise to withdraw these medications, I trusted her medical opinion. She indicated that she hoped to soon have me off all meds but I refused to let her remove my base anti depressant. The withdrawal of medication by Dr. Amalathas sent me into a major depressive episode. It was the worst I had ever experienced before. When I went to see her during this crisis she indicated that she learned from my therapist that I occasionally smoked marijuana and that she refused to treat me any further as a result. Being bailed on my her during a time of complete crisis made me angry and left me feeling incredibly abandoned and without hope. I do not believe any doctor, such as a psychiatrist, who has such direct control over those at risk of taking their own life should completely abandon their patient at such a time of crisis. She is of course entitled to her own policies however, if you do decide to treat with her, I would recommend keeping your mouth shut about anything that she may find personally offensive. Specifically if you smoke marijuana, as many of us do - medicinally or otherwise- absolutely keep that to yourself. I am now struggling to find a new doctor after learning that Dr. Amalathas is not one that can be counted on. Your life is too valuable to be trusted to the hands of Dr. Amalathas. I am both lucky and blessed to have had a solid support system around me after being abandoned by her. I truly believe that she put my life at direct risk.

I've been told I'm ADD by pretty much everyone in my life but I didn't believe it. She showed me how I was self medicating through extreme exercise and obscene amounts of caffeine. She prescribed one drug, very low dosage and non-addictive and it cured those dark winter thoughts. It also gave me some respite from my ADD though I rely more on the exercise and caffeine. Went off SAD drug for summer with no problems except increased ADD symptoms (not finishing tasks before jumping into others).

I developed an acute and very painful case of what's called tennis elbow. I'd been to my…read morechiropractor a number of times and he gave me multiple treatments of massage and ultra-sound. But despite this attention, his ministrations didn't really seem to have a great deal of effect. Still very uncomfortable and sore, I decided to see if acupuncture would do the trick. And although Andrea DID use a needle in one of my fingers to get the offending muscle to relax, in fact she proceeded to give me the most terrific (and not even terribly lengthy) forearm massage. The result was quite extraordinary. Rather suddenly, all my months of extreme disability quite faded away within a day or so. It was then that I learned that not only is Andrea a fully-trained acupuncturist, she also went off to India at one point to learn a particular massage technique. Despite the fact that she seems to keep this skill in a drawer, Andrea's a fine, fine masseuse.

Getting acupuncture flat out changed my life and I have Andrea to thank for that. I was resistant to the idea of acupuncture at first but thank God I let cooler heads prevail as getting treated for stress and anxiety from Andrea opened me up to a world of calm that I honestly didn't even know exists. Andrea uses super fine needles so the experience is as painless as possible and most importantly, she cultivates a welcoming, calming environment that allows you to be treated as effectively as possible. I look forward to every time I stop by Centered Health and know that it's the one section of my day where I can tune into a greater sense of myself and the world. I'm so thankful I found this wonderful place!

NOT ER. This is a medical appointment with Dr Choi So far,…read moreso good. Arrival experience: Valet parking was smooth with friendly valet. Walked directly in to the lobby reception and was greeted by two friendly desk associates. The check in required photo identification for both of us. Clear instructions to the Dr Office on the first floor. DR CHOI's office: Checked in by Kelly~ friendly and efficient. Nearly immediately checked with procedures and sent us to X~ray registration on level one lobby. ( this seemed like the only redundant process) there was no line, so we were able to check in quickly with the friendly desk representative who knew we were on our way- Good communication between Kelly at Dr Choi's office and Radiology reception. Within minutes we were on the way to 2nd floor radiology. RADIOLOGY: smooth arrival experience ( I recommend that you snap a photo of your script for your records before handing it over. They were accommodating for this when we asked, this may save time from having to ask for records later. WAITING: one other patient was in the waiting room when we arrived. The waiting room is organized, well lit, and clean. There is a TV The wait was reasonable and brief about 7 minutes. Erica and student Tammy greeted us and requested the script ~ we directed them to the desk agent. Within a minute, they left for X-ray. More pleasant staff. All is going smoothly for Radiology. I will review Dr Choi separately.
