That ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay! We also reserved a cabana, and it made the whole day feel even more relaxing and elevated. Nicole truly stood out...she was attentive, kind, and made sure our experience felt 5-star from start to finish. Even when it looked like she was handling the entire pool area on her own, she never missed a beat and still made us feel like a priority. The golf course was incredible...the first nine holes were especially scenic, and the bagpiper at sunset was such a unique and memorable touch. The food was great, the drinks were on point, and every staff member we encountered was kind and welcoming. Between the service, the atmosphere, and the little extras, it was an experience we'll definitely be back for!

Everything seemed easy after Ross Bridge. The long bridge or wooden cart path was interesting, almost like going on a baby roller coaster. At least the sounds of it. We ate at a couple RTJ restaurants. If I remember correctly, this is the only RTJ restaurant sprinkled cinnamon sugar on the sweet potato fries, giving it an extra oomph! They don't allow outside beverages, you have to buy their drinks that are unbelievably overpriced. They force single and double players to play with other twosomes.. There are silly little rules for everything. I can't stand that. When you pay over $100 for one person to play, the least they can do is leave you alone and allow you to play your game. This is Birmingham, there are great affordable courses everywhere available--courses who'll leave you alone and stay out of your head and allow you to play without stupid arbitrary rules.. but this ain't one of 'em. I'll never be back.
