Considering days of frigid temperatures, the course is holding up well. Obviously, there were wet spots, but the greens were consistent all day on The Brook & The Graveyard. I've always enjoyed the grille (BLT or Turkey sub) Very friendly staff and a clean clubhouse. read more

Bent Brook is 27 holes made up of three 9-hole courses named Windmill, Brook and Graveyard. All three courses are pretty flat, and among the most walkable around Birmingham. I play here pretty often. My favorite nine is Windmill, then Graveyard and then Brook. Windmill is the nine that you can see from I-459, Graveyard has water on six of the nine holes, and Brook is the longest and has the most forgiving fairways. The course is in the middle of a multi-year facelift. The renovations started in 2014, and were staggered so that 18 holes remained open while the other 9 were being worked. All renovations are scheduled to be completed May 2016. The renovations included reseeding all of the greens with a new bent grass. Bent Brook was hit by an EF2 tornado on March 1, 2016. The tornado did significant damage to multiple buildings and affected over 200 trees. The damage was unfortunate but I am sure Bent Brook will recover in time. The Pro shop staff was not friendly, the course was in good shape. The grill staff was very nice. I have played better courses for less money. Not a fan of the golf cart shutting down remotely. One and done with this course. read more

Not sure who Gary W is or John H is. But I play here weekly, year round , and I believe in standing up for what is good. And I can not remember a round of golf here where this course was not in spectacular shape. I think and know the maintenance dept does a super job. Always in great shape, clean, and fun To play. And for the pro shop staff, never seen them not friendly and ready to help. Super nice. Maybe it was you in bad mood the day you played. Try it again, I know you'll like it. Played this for the first time ever today. Super hot and humid but totally worth it. Never got a single bad lie. I am giving this five stars because of the value. The price cannot be beat. Especially if you do the twilight deal. They even gave you 10% credit to your name at the clubhouse that you can apply to a future purchase. They also give you one free refill on your fountain drinks. Seems kind of small, but actually a pretty cool. Very well manicured and excellent Bermuda grass. Greens were actually slow because they kept them so wet. Wide fairways make a very fair especially for first timers that don't know the course layout. I played Brooke and graveyard. Fair amount of water throughout the course but rarely comes into play unless you hit some pretty bad shots. I'm a 16 handicap. Will try to play here again next week instead of Robert Trent jones oxmoor. read more

Great track and the price is right. You will hit every club in the bag and the greens are well above average. It won't disappoint.

Where to even start with bent brook golf course. They have a birthday special that awards a tee time to you either the week before or after your birthday. This is such a great special and not many course offer a promotion like this out there. I made my tee time three days in advance and made sure to let the course know that I was using the promotion and there was not problem over the phone with it. I drove 35 minutes to go play it today and redeem my birthday offer. I got there today to find out that they only allow you to use this offer during the weekdays. There is nothing on their website or anything that shows these rules. The guy in the clubhouse was very rude when I was explaining the whole situation to him and forced me to pay the full price for the tee time. The staff was not friendly and I will not be returning to their course. read more

This place is gorgeous. After driving past it on the highway, I finally found time to play. It's been a while since I've played a wide open course. Bent Brook is a very nice golf course. The director of golf, Mickey Smith, gives outstanding golf lessons. like Paul C. said there are 3 sets on holes. Brook, Graveyard, and Windmill. It has a good golf cart gps system. The course is pretty open so you can miss right or left a little. In 2002 Bent Brook was rated #1 public course in Birmingham. Although its not #1 now its still in the top 10. Book you a tee time now! read more

This course is my home course. It is flat enough to walk any of the three nines. It is a good medium length course with plenty of challenges. The price is right. And they have senior rates during the week. Check their website for deals and packages. They also have a decent practice facilities with range, chipping green and putting green. read more

No worth the money at all, I have never seen fairways in this bad of shape. It was soaking wet and extremely muddy. Fairways had gum balls and sticks all over them. I would not play here again if it was free, oh and it was $55 during the week. read more

Beautiful course! I don't golf much, it's really not my thing. I was impressed with the course and the shop. My boyfriend, who golfs often, loved this course and went back several times. He liked the GPS in the golf carts, and to be honest I was really enjoying that too. read more
