My mother was a resident at "The Lakes" for over five years. She lived independently for the first several years, then transitioned to assisted living and eventually, memory care. Throughout her residency the Lake's staff treated my mother with the utmost respect and kindness. As she became more dependent on others to assist her with her daily activities the quality of care she received remained excellent. My mother's dignity was never compromised, and even though her declining cognitive ability frustrated her, the aides and the nursing staff patiently and diligently attended to her most basic needs. I love working at The Lakes. We have great residents and staff. We work hard to provide the best service for our residents and guests. Its a beautiful facility, very well kept, lots of fun things to participate in like family picnics for our residents and their families to attend, weekly entertainment, staff training and educational services and much more. They have a bar for residents and guests to have a cocktail or soda, beautiful dining areas and a bistro that has nice meals as well. The grounds are also beautiful overlooking the lake! read more
