Had a great time for the weekend. Quiet place right near the beach. Fire pits and picnic tables at every spot. Hot showers, clean bathrooms. 5 dollar bundles of firewood. Bring your own ice and food. They have community grills and games. Had an awesome weekend. Rained a little bit but tree line on both sides gives you a decent amount of relief from the wind. Great place to camp and pets and kids all seem to be loving life. read more

I am actually hesitant to say too much good about this place. Once word it, this gem will fill up fast. It's our favorite spot at the beach. Our first visit to lamp camp, and definitely will not be our last, site 17 was the spot to be, the only downside was we had everybody walking right in front of our campsite with their dogs that they would not control, but you know other than that, it was great! Amenities include showers, bathrooms, campfire pits, games, crafts and books in the clubhouse. They have an incredible cooking space that includes a flat iron skillet, grill, juicer, oven to bake and more! What really makes this place amazing is the Team that owns and runs it! A Marine and his wife own and reside on site. Their GM Marian also resides on the grounds and goes above and beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of and comfortable. Our experience was so amazing we've already booked next Summer when they have even more spots and amenities! read more

What a find! I booked a last-minute getaway to Long Beach in my teardrop and Lamp Camp came recommended through a person in a camping group. The weekend I chose was that of a king tide. Weather wasn't REALLY cooperating. The first night I was in the dunes. All by myself. With crazy ass winds and pelting rain. Not gonna lie, it was scary! Aaron, the camp host moved me closer inland the next day (THANK YOU). Let's talk about Aaron. Super helpful, kind and just an overall nice guy. It was nice to have him watching over the property. Tracey too, was also a gracious host. The bathrooms were as clean as you're going to get for camping. Nice showers and cleaned with bleach daily. The outdoor grill area I bet is hopping in the summertime and there's table set up...almost like you're dining on a patio! The sites themselves are very nice. Dune spots open to lots of surrounding desert grass and the RV spots have trees for some privacy at the back. Also some great trails through the trees! If you're sleeping in the dunes you'll hear the roar of the ocean at night...which can be a tad intimidating if you're not used to it! But a super cool experience. Can't wait to visit with my kiddo when the weather is better! read more

We stayed two nights on a rainy April weekend. The entrance is deceiving as it's set back on a flag lot. Check in was just us driving into our spot. Very nice facilities with trees behind the sites making it feel woodsy. Fire pits and picnic tables at each camp. Walk to beach isn't too far at all. Shower facilities and cooking are a very nice. Given that we were first-time RV-ers, the Lamp Camp was absolutely the best choice we could have made! The site was clean, folks were respectful, and the location was beautiful. The beach was just a short, scenic walk and we had sand and ocean for miles. And given the windy conditions on the beach, the RV site was tucked away amidst some great trees that insulated us. We didn't utilize any of the site facilities, but they looked in tip-top shape with a lot of attention paid to them. This is a great option for some contact-free rest and relaxation and for sure has set a high standard for future RV sites! read more

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here in our small motorhome last weekend. The park host was lovely, it's dog friendly, clean and wonderful showers, a beautiful beach and we could hear the ocean from our site. My only hesitation is that it's pretty close quarters for RV campers. We purposefully chose #10 because its the last site in that row with hookups hoping there would be no one beside us on that side and we lucked out and there wasn't. However the folks on the other side of us were so close it was awkward. Their front door was RIGHT outside our main window, which we couldn't open because they smoked. We had to keep the blinds on that window closed the whole time too so it wasn't weird. I could hear their kids from my bed early in the morning inside their RV it was so close. There are amazing tent sites all the way down to the dunes with fire rings and tables and a sani-can close by. I'd highly recommend this place for tent campers. Beautiful, sandy sites. I'd also recommend it for RVers that don't care all that much about privacy. Oh, there is WiFi too which was handy. read more

This was our maiden voyage in the RV. We chose lamp camp because of the amenities offered. When we arrived we were welcomed. The park has, I would say, above average spaces. There were two parking spots for site. The hook ups had two options so you could park in the middle of your lot or off to the side. We did not need to use any levelers. Very peaceful stay. There's a really nice group fireplace, clubhouse, laundry, showers and restroom. There's a straight trail to the beach with the entrance well marked by a driftwood pavilion. We enjoyed walks on the beach and we are gifted with multiple bald eagle sightings. The host and hostess couldn't be any nicer, really felt welcome. We would definitely come back again. Also there are campsites for non-RV ers . Every site has a picnic table and campfire. The sites are easily identified. The Wi-Fi is better than at home. read more

Wow, the staff is very much dedicated to the guest experience. Gave me an early check-in on the spot. Made sure my tent would stay dry when it was coming down pretty hard. Helped cook my steak, fixed my broken usb lantern, fixed the hole in my tent and were, overall, super caring and friendly. The grounds are nearly mystic. Druidic structures lead you right to one of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever seen (and I've seen a few-- been from Washington Coast to Baja). The outdoor kitchen is literally gourmet. Replete with juicer, colander and pretty much anything pan, plate, glass, utensil you could want. The decor in the club house is on point, contemporary and kitsch and very well pulled together. Hanging swings, pot-bellied stove and little curios. The music coming from the hosts' camper was always uplifting -- lots of old jazz and world music: Disappointed my review and other good reviews were somehow recategorized as unrecommended. I read them all and the owners shouldn't be penalized for being awesome. I never met any of the other campers while staying, but what I read I experienced for myself. This was stated from disparate and completely disinterested parties. We all had a great experience here because it is truly amazing. Just go. read more

We spent the past weekend here and LOVED IT (I almost used sick time at work to stay another night). The site was large enough that both us and our friends could park our RVs (truck camper and a C class). The bathrooms were nice and clean. Best part is the beach was so close- just a short walk! Super cute benches and swings (ya know, for the gram). The hosts were amazing and beyond accommodating. WOW... what a WONDERFUL place! The owners Aaron and Mallory were there tending to their camp and making sure everyone who stayed there had a relaxing time. They even invited us to their community get together embracing us like we were long lost friends. They hired a woman who is bubbly and full of life named Marion who runs things when they are away and she was friendly, inviting and made us feel like family the entire time we stayed there. They went above and beyond. This place is well kept and clean. The kitchen area is a welcome treat when camping making food preparation much easier. One of my favorite features was the community herb garden, I used it every day. There are warm showers to wash away any lingering sand from the beach or simply to warm your bones from the chilly wind. There is a community fire pit as well as private fire pits offered at your camp/RV site. The beach is just a short walk away and once you reach the beach you feel like you have the beach to yourself. They also have a clubhouse where you can charge your phone, do some work, or just simply relax, read a book or play a game. There was coloring books and crayons, as well as yard games and sand toys that our sons enjoyed. They plan to expand their camp and make more tent spots which will be nice. My family and I are looking forward to coming back next summer and seeing our Lamp Camp Family! I highly recommend this place if you're in need of a camp or RV spot. Three thumbs up!!! read more

This camp does everything just right! They have a large grill we used to cook our eggs. They had a large stainless steel sink to wash dishes (or clean clams). It rained one day and we read in a large community room furnished with games and books. They have warm showers and even have a heater for the bathroom!!! There are outdoor games provided. There's a long sandy beach without crowds. The owner was prompt at replying to us and was super friendly. He said he set up the camp with everything he would want at a camp. Fantastic experience at The Lamp Camp. Aaron and Mallory are incredibly sweet and accommodating. There is an amazing community feel with an cozy clubhouse. We have stayed at many RV parks the last 2 years and have to say this one by far as been the best one we have been at. The owners and camp host do such a great job making you feel welcome and everyone around was so welcoming and inviting. Also the camp facilities were outstanding, the showers and bathrooms almost made you feel at home. They have an outdoor grilling area and seating area that was first rate. I honestly hate to let our little secret out of the bag but the owners do such a great job that we want them to be successful so we can continue to go there every year. Amazing campground. You wish you were here right now. We camped for 3 days in our RV. Sites are large with picnic tables, fire pits and full hookups (30 amps). The customer service from the whole Lamp Camp team is excellent. If you need anything, from wood for your fire to something fixed, they are right on it. The outdoor communal cooking area was really fantastic, with plenty of space to spread out. The walk to the beach was so easy and the beach is gorgeous. You will want to go down there everyday and enjoy the long, sweeping views without crowds. If you are looking for a summer break with gorgeous views, a relaxing environment and not too many other people, the Lamp Camp is the choice. We will be back as soon as we can. read more

My husband and I stayed in RV spot 13 over the Labor Day weekend in 2019. Check in and check out were both very easy. The RV spot itself was large and comfortable. It didn't feel like we were too close to anyone. There was a picnic table and a fire pit just for us. The owners are a super friendly young couple who make you feel like family. Other campers were great: young and middle-aged folks, no loud music, well-behaved dogs and kids. The facilities were very clean. There are single bathrooms with showers and a large outdoor kitchen and dining area. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the campsite and it is gorgeous, even when the sun is not out. Be sure to bring your flip flops and hoodie so you fit in. We'll be back for sure! I highly recommend this place! read more
