This is a hidden gem in Twin Falls! This cinema plays offbeat movies and hosts many special events adding to the fabric of this town. The popcorn is yummy and a great atmosphere. read more

This place is AWESOME! I was curious about it so I stopped by last week and got to meet Dave and visit with his wife Triss. This is such a cute place and I love having another option for going to see a movie in the theater. They have beer, wine, and food there and it sounds like they have some great events coming up too. Will be back to see a movie soon! read more

At The Lamphouse Theatre, we are committed to bringing the best cinematic experience to the Twin Falls community. From classic art films to the latest releases, we carefully select every movie we show to ensure that our guests have a truly enjoyable night out.

History

Established in 2000.

We opened the Lamphouse Theatre in 2000 because many independent films were not available to the community. After six years of operation we decided Twin Falls was not large enough to support a theater like ours. We closed exactly six years after opening. But now Twin Falls has grown substantially. And, out of the blue, we snagged used digital projectors at a bargain price. We still have one of the original 35mm projectors and from time to time we screen films in this format. We were the only theater in idaho to screen Oppenheimer in 35mm. We also host live events in our lounge such as Poetically Correct on the first Thursday of the month, Chautauqua Tuesday on the last Tuesday of the month and Lamphouse Nights on the last Saturday of the month. We also have live plays from time to time. Our theaters are available to rent for private parties. We can run current films as well as faves from the past. We can even stream live events.
