I can tell he is so passionate about this place and the hard work he has put into it. Don't let the small parking lot fool you. It is a treasure to behold beyond the gate. There are so many beautiful varieties of cacti and other plants and trees within this garden. It is such a calming place and perfect to regain one's zen state of mind.

There is a surprisingly large area for you to walk around in, and everything is lit up with Christmas lights. My favorite part was the meadow in the middle of the gardens with a lot of "negative space", with areas that weren't lit. I'm doing a terrible job describing it, but it was beautiful. There is street parking, and there is no coat for admission, although they do accept donations. If you're looking for a walking Christmas lights display in Twin Falls I couldn't recommend a better location.

So when I found myself in a kitchen supply store, I was out of my element. But my mom loves to cook, and I love my mom (especially when she cooks for me!) so I went along willingly. I was innocently browsing around when I stumbled on a doorway to that led me to another section that was much more my speed-the wine store. On that side, I discovered bottles of wine along with a friendly sommelier, Cesar, who was both knowledgable and friendly. He offered a taste test of a few wines, which led me to purchasing a bottle that I might not have otherwise stumbled upon. There was also a wall full of different coffee beans and a grinder so you could prepare your beans just the way you like them. There was also a wall full of different types of oils and vinegars. A lovely young lady assisted us in testing those, too. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. I saw that they do cooking classes and, for a brief moment, pictured myself wearing an apron learning from these fine folks how to make something exquisite. Phenomenal greens and the course was overall in great condition. Really nice people that work there as well. We raised 25,000 during this event and they are now going to get brand-new windows in their orphanage in Indonesia. What a blessing Carl and Kathy Cadi are! They're saints!!! God is sooo good!

The museum guide was wonderful, she came out to the new building to check on us (it was a very hot day) and explained how the steam powered tractor operated. My husband was fascinated. Really great historical objects that have been lovingly preserved. I love visiting museums and this one is a jewel. I highly recommend visiting.
