Once upon a time there was a pop up that offered *california* style breakfast, that is when I first fell in love with the best huevos rancheros that I had ever tasted in Berlin.
There was eggs benedict and french toast, pancakes and everything in between.
The pop-up evolved to a permanent location and things changed, owners changed and my beloved huevos were not the same, something didn't feel right.
By pure coincidence and to my excitement I found that the original creator was back with a new pop-up concept with new and old menu items so naturally, I couldn't wait to get that familiar huevos flavour back and as I type this, the taste of the sour cream and salsa fresca are still in my mouth.
The location is a mix between coffee-shop, evening venue and co-working space with a berlin "pieced-together" but at the same time industrial-ish layed back feel.
Coffee is provided by Berlin's own five elephant and the menu offers everything needed to recover from a mean hangover or just indulging in a weekend brunch and treating your gluttonous self.
A DJ rounded up the pop-up experience with a very fitting and mellow mix of tunes and had us whipping out shazam.
