Carne de Cerdo con Tostones: The meat was good but too salty. The tostones were perfect and worth eating by themselves.

What do I do when I visit Florida, but look for all my ethnic hot spots. I was hankering for some typical street food and my sister took me to the Latin Dugout. This little spot is hidden in a food truck/strip mallesque type lot. We could not find the place at first and had to drive a bit before we located it. I initially wanted some morcilla (blood sausage), but since they had none available I settled for a plantain, salami, sausage and fried cheese platter ( very keto friendly place, minus the plantains). I spoke with someone there who promised they would have morcilla the following day for me. (I'm on vacation) He was very gracious, and although there weren't many patrons, the wait for my meal was excruciating. All of the food was exceptionally fresh, and the place is very cozy, but that wait lost you a .

Absolutely love the empanadas stuffed to the brim with beef, have had them twice this week alone. Great little hole in the wall for date night. Recommend everyone give them a try.

    Amazing Dominican Salchipapas

Dominican place with some Italian food. Everything on the menu looked delicious and it was! Can't wait to come back!

We ordered a lot of food, so it took some time for us to get our order, but it was well worth it. The service was very friendly and kind as well. You can tell they enjoy their work and are passionate. We ordered 4 entrees and sides. The OG Cuban is honestly amazing. The Riki Taki had some very interesting flavors and was super fresh. El Tigre in the Big Papi were so unique. And I loved the queso Frito in each of them. My favorite one was Miami chopped cheese!! They use Carnitas instead of beef and it being layered into a Cuban was genius. I'll be coming back for them all but especially that Miami chopped for sure. We also got the the meatball and the Cuban empanada. They were so delicious!! The guava cheesecake empanada was to die for! We also got the yucca fries and the queso Frito as sides and they were amazing. We ordered chimi sauce, a smoked ketchup for the yucca fries and a guava honey sauce for the cheese. It was so unique and I absolutely loved it. This place is a must try!!!

It followed a rather conventional approach, quickly transitioning to inquiries about our preferences before promptly processing our payment. i was craving tacos after mg movie and I found myself drawn to the nearest establishment that was still open. With high hopes in my heart, I eagerly approached this place that proudly touted itself as a purveyor of fresh, authentic flavors. Unfortunately, my experience was a stark contrast to those lofty claims; the food was disappointingly bland, devoid of the vibrant tastes I had anticipated. The wait extended for what felt like an eternity, and I found the prices to be somewhat steep in relation to the quality of the offerings, at least in my humble opinion. I, for one, would likely not return to dine here again. However, I must admit that the outdoor seating arrangement, complemented by charming beach chairs, added a certain quaintness to the food truck location that was undeniably appealing and refreshing. The sauces they offered was the only good part of the meal.

Crave worthy donuts…read more West Park Village had a food truck rally. Normally, I wouldn't brave the crowds to go to these things, but I scheduled to have a friend cut my kids hair that day and she lives in WPV, so I figured, why not. After the hair cut, I threw both kids in the stroller and her family and mine walked over to the rally. My three-year-old spotted the donuts and demanded them right away. (I always say that he may grow up to be spoiled and stupid, but at least he'll be kind, but I digress). We got in line to get some donuts. It was $6 for a dozen and since they had a minimum credit card charge of $5, we couldn't get a half dozen (which I think was $4), without paying an extra 25 cents. I'm glad they have that minimum in place, because you definitely want to go with at least a dozen. If I knew my husband would eat some I might have even gone with the 36 for $16, they're that good! Since they're made to order, they were warm and we got it with cinnamon sugar. These things are dangerous. I had mini donuts from another place recently and found them to be doughy. As another reviewer mentioned, these are melt in your mouth, not doughy at all. I haven't been eating sweets a lot recently, but somehow six of these disappeared. My son ate five (and he's a picky eater) and my husband ate one. My husband said they were really good, but I wouldn't let them have more. If you see this food truck, you definitely should get some. They're fantastic!

I don't know how it's possible but I think it may have even been better the second day. Trust me when I say ... I eat more pizza than almost anyone. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of pizza shops all over the world including Italy. I also have been making pizza at home for the past 10 years. This pizza is it !

No drink refills, and we had to flag someone down just to get our check and to-go boxes. We started with a Caesar salad after finding out the octopus carpaccio (which we were excited to try) had run out -- the salad was fine but pretty unremarkable. We also ordered the Montecristo pizza with burrata, which looked great in theory, but the burrata was not evenly distributed -- piled onto one side, leaving the rest of the pizza bare. The crust itself was floppy with no real flavor -- no standout sauce or seasoning. Honestly, I think I could make a better pie at home on my Gozney. Our friends weren't impressed either -- the lasagna was underwhelming, and the cheese pizza they ordered (with a request for extra cheese) came out with no extra cheese at all. Disappointing overall, especially given the price point and the reviews. Might try again someday to see if it was an off night, but not in a rush to go back.
