Double load front load machines run $2.25, and it is truly a generous double load. I had a lot of room left. $2.50 if you choose extra rinse or heavy soil option. Wascomat brand, newer machines. Single load top loads cost $1.75, older Maytag machines. Also one triple loader for $3.75 per load. Speed queen dryers 25¢ per 8 minutes, I think, and there is a prominent sign saying to contact state department of weights and measures if the time is incorrect. I wasn't using the dryers, so I can't report on their qualities. A bad smell like rotten eggs greeted me on my first visit. Realizing it may not be a permanent thing, I came back a few days later and the smell was gone. It's a small place, quiet, clean, warm. Snack and drink machine, ATM inside, and two change machines. Laundry soap and softener machine also. Clean single bathroom, no music, musak, or TV. No wifi that I'm aware of. Two long benches along two long folding tables, three molded plastic chairs. Very sparsely attended during the two times when I was there. Trusting customers, apparently, as someone left laundry drying and money on the table. Here's the caveats: The whole place vibrates alarmingly when the double load machines spin. I mean the floor, the walls, the platform the machines rest on, the entire place. It's very loud and I was wishing it weren't winter so that I could go sit outside until it finished. Very disconcerting. The other caveat was the condition of the clothes when they came out. Severely pilled in my case, all the knits were very very pilled. Clothes that I've had for a long time that have never pilled, now are pilled. And in my unfortunate laundry neighbor's case, she pulled a Patagonia fleece out of the washer to find that the machine had literally shredded the end of the sleeve. It was new from Christmas and she was quite upset. As she should have been. I would return for the location convenience, but will probably use the top loaders. I'd be leery of putting anything but very sturdy jeans or towels in the front loaders.

While it appears they allow the option for tap payment, they were not working. I read that in another review so maybe it's a choice they are making not to offer. You can use your physical card, just not apple or Google pay. The cost for two loads in the washer and one load in the dryer for 30 minutes was only $6.25. The place was very clean and I would definitely use it again. It was nice to only spend and hour on laundry that normally takes me half a day or so to complete.

There are a lot of machines so you can usually find the right one for your needs. If you are washing comforters, sometimes you have to wait for the very big machines. I find the price of the washers and dryers pretty reasonable. Broken machines are usually well marked. I like the parking lot and that there are two doors to the business. There is a Milio's in the same complex so if you need lunch or dinner you don't have to drive around. And now a Tattoo and Piercing Shop, so maybe get some ink while you are washing.

I've never had any issues with the washing machines or dryers at Queen's Way, as they have always been functioning. Place is relatively clean, numerous booths, tables, and chairs to get some work done or read. TV with many cable channels available. To the best of my knowledge there is also Wi-fi, but I have not tried using it, so I am unable to comment on browsing speed, etc. Multiple large tables for folding as well as carts for use within the laundromat. I've been using Queen's Way for months now and I will continue to go back. Nothing special, but a clean laundromat with a perk like free cable TV? I'll take it! UPDATE 5/28/2014: I attempted to use the Wi-fi but was unsuccessful. It appears to be a network with no password, but I still had trouble establishing a connection. Regardless, I still recommend Queen's Way Laundry.

I throw the clothes in asap as there are a few people here and I didnt want to have to wait for an empty dryer, if I dawdled. After my dryers are rolling, I get a look around. The front section has water on the floor. Unsure if one of the machines leaked or if someone dropped a water bottle. Just glad I had no need to use those machines. The rest of the space looks like every other laundromat that is not attended too during the day. The price on the dryers is right. The prices on the washers seem right but I came with washed clothing. I didn't need to buy supplies but the price seemed right. There is a soda vending machine available. The laundromat is in a strip mall so there is lots of parking. A Chinese takeout is a couple storefronts away, if you need food. Conveniently located in Main Street. I guess if I am doing laundry in Sun Prairie, I would end up here again.

I had two dryers that were broken and Lonny got my clothing transferred to a new machine and paid for it since I was already out for the other machines. He was helping so many people and was so nice. It is a huge upgrade under this new owner versus the prior owner.
