You must know the photos are not from this laundry or place. When I got there the place was different. I regret the moment I drove there. It's called "Am/PM Laundry Lounge" It's Super dirty, soon as you open the wash machines you can feel the bad smell. On all of them!!! Mold on the machines, they have never been clean. The prices are terrible. Sm 4.49$ Md it's 7.49$, and the LG machine it's 9.49$. You must buy the laundry card and it cost 2$ And the Dryer it's not free. Remember that What a terrible place. 30$ dollar on laundry when I usually expend 15-18$ I live alone and I only bring little amount of clothes. The machines are kept in bad conditions. The lot always has trash and is unkept in front of the door. The inside always filled with trash on the floors. The trash cans are always over filled and falling to the floor. There are more broken washer and dryer's than working ones. People leave their clothes in the dryers and leave and come back like hours later holding up dryers. I lifted the flap up to put my detergent in the washer and it was a roach in there! And it was a dead roach on the floor. The roach was the last straw for me! This been like this for years and only getting worse. They changed the name but the inside remains the same. If I could give no stars I would so one star it is. read more

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! This Place is a DISASTER! ​This dump has not just "gone downhill"--it's in a freefall! I just forked over SIXTY DOLLARS to use these filthy facilities, and what do I get? ​My daughter needed to use the restroom, and when I asked the little worker bee in the back to open the door, I was met with the most APPALLING excuse I have ever heard! She actually had the audacity to tell me her manager FORBADE her from stopping her precious folding to help a paying customer! "She could not stop doing her work to open the door for every customer who had to use the restroom," she robotically spits out! ​I demanded to speak to this invisible, cowardly MANAGER, and of course the girl "couldn't get in contact with her." So what was the final insult? She tells me to march my child ACROSS THE STREET TO DUNKIN' DONUTS! Are you KIDDING ME?! I spent \$60 here! ​When this laundry pit first opened, it was clean. Now? It's FILTHY! The machines are BROKEN, they're MOLDY, and the "customer service" is not just terrible, it's NON-EXISTENT! This is a complete and utter disgrace! read more

I landed at The Laundry Cafe today. I was surprised when I walked in the door. This place is clean, very spacious, climate controlled, modern and comfortable. The washing machines range from $4.29 to $12.99, I think. There are tons of huge dryers. You'll get a refillable card (cash or credit)you should register. If registered and you lose your card, they can transfer any funds left to your new card. I'm assuming as long as no one finds it first. You'll also get a courtesy text when your machines stop. Fancy!! They're open 24/7 and they have drop off service and snack/drink vending. They sell detergent etc. I saw massage chairs, a Starbucks coffee machine and a cafe area to sit, eat and drink. There are at least 7 tv screens. My card says free dry with wash, but I'll have to confirm that. I haven't checked out the restrooms, but I'm not worried. I saw two attendants. An older gentleman and a very kind and helpful woman with braids. This place has a good vibe and good music too. The Laundry Cafe will be my new laundry facility. read more

It's not the worst laundromat, you could go to in the city as many these people in the reviews have stated period there's plenty of room to navigate around, and there's plenty of seating. while you waiting for your laundry to wash and dry, the laundry café works to provide you additional amenities to keep you entertained. If your phone gets boring and when it comes to vending machine refreshments and other laundry goods, they are very reasonably priced. Even Santana is better than 7-Eleven. There was a few out of order machines, but you can find plenty of other empty machines to use instead. read more

Has parking to unload and load your laundry baskets, has self-load/re-load money card for the machines, plenty of machines to choose from (we went on a Tuesday early afternoon). Place to sit and drink your coffee and sandwich from Dunkin Donuts which is located a couple of yards away. Would definitely go again. read more

the Laundry Cafe is not a safe place to wash your clothes today someone stole all my clothes from out the dryers I literally put my clothes in the dryer went to the market and came back my clothes were gone and this is not the first time this happened to me someone stole my son clothes. I asked Manager to check the cameras she said they don't work. The laundromat is always filled with addicts that hangs out in there to have a warm place to sit. This place went down the hill. So many broken washers and dryers. They have roaches and also there's always weird ass people there just always staring and checking you out while you're doing laundry. The people stay hogging the laundry carts. The workers are lazy and everyone be having attitudes. The dryers be having clothes just siting in them and the workers claim they can't move them. Had to wash my rug-able. Washers and dryers here are large and was able to accommodate my 10x12 rug-able.

A whole load of my clothes was ruined here. I am a single mom and when I bring my teens clothes home with more stains than they left the house with, that is a problem. I'm really bummed because I cannot easily afford to replace these damaged items. Also a load of white clothing was pretty much as dirty as it was before I washed it. I had to borrow a friends washer when I came home to do the load over again. This is so disappointing because a friend of mine spoke highly of this business and I want to support black owned businesses in my community but now here it is wash day again and I've got to find someplace else to go. read more

Just move to Philly 3 months ago to open a Peruvian restaurant here in Northern Liberties. Living in the storage room without ac or laundry. Try many coin laundries around here that were ok until I found this one. Everybody there are so courteous and friendly. I just love the drop off service. . Just bring my dirty clothes, most of them chef jackets with food and grease, they weight them and tell me when to pick up. They wash, dry and fold your clothes so delicate and professionally, even put some dryer sheets in the package they made with a plastic bag. Lovely!! read more

Very first time here and if you've read any pod my other laundromat reviews you'd know I've been a loyal customer to another laundry company and location much further away from home. I think I'm dumping my old location. This is a bit more updated on technology and the machines are brand new. I'll come back again on a busier day and see how I like things. It was my first time ever visiting a laundry cafe and it was a good experience. Enter the door and there is fragrance, pretty neat and clean and a huge place. The staff was very very helpful and friendly. Helped me out understanding how it works. Has different types of loads so pretty much can take small to giant loads. Best thing it has FREE DRY. For 20lbs around $4 washing and drying is great deal. They also have a drop off service which is $0.99 per lb. Min req is 10lb...wash, dry and fold. Amazing deal. There is a vending machine inside the cafe in case you forget the detergent and also there is a Dollar General right next to it. There is parking as well so don't have to go hunting around for a spot. Overall really good staff and very clean place and lot of options depending on the load. read more

Came here at the recommendation of a friend. I have my own washer and dryer, but needed to clean an area rug and heard they had big machines here. As others have experienced, when i walked in there was no one at the desk. I did a quick walk around to make sure they had what I needed (they did, and then some) then headed back to the desk to ring the bell for assistance. The girl showed up immediately; I guess I had walked right past her and didn't notice because there is no uniform or logo'd shirt for employees. She kindly confirmed the kind of machine I needed, helped me get set up with a new card, and helped me get some soap from the vending machine that had an "out of order" sign on it (employees have the key). I was in and out in less than an hour with a newly cleaned rug, all for about $11. Card costs $1, lowest amount that can be put on is $10 (so I do have a few bucks left). Drying is free, but I didn't take advantage. Only rating 4/5 stars as there's not too much seating available, and the TV's were LOUD. Granted I went during the Eagles game, but still ... I ended up sitting outside for a bit for a reprieve. read more

I love this laundry mat! Its so clean, bright, and its in q safe area. I always feel safe coming here regardless of what time of say it is. I have come here at 3am in the morning which is the best because that's when it's empty. You have to buy a laundry card to do laundry which in my opinion is so much better than the old quarter system. They have a good amount of machines and there are TVs everywhere. They have vending machines for sodas and laundry detergent. I always come here to do laundry. read more

First time to go and my last. I walk in to find no one working behind the desk. Timed it and it took 7 minutes before someone coming on to their shift to walk in. Once I asked if they worked there, after they walked past me and saw me waiting up against the counter, if they worked there. She answered yes. Then went about her business. I then had to ask her how much their drop off pricing was. She told me .99 cents, which is ridiculously high, and then went out of her way to keep ignoring me. I just took my things and left. If that doesn't tell you enough, here are the pros: parking lot, 24hours, clean, bathrooms, small sized to gigantic washers, tvs, free dry with wash, vending machines, next to a dollar general and Pizza Hut!! Here's a TIP if you bring $20 bills to add to your card it automatically gives you a $3 credit!!!!! The place is clean and more updated than many laundromats I've visited in Philly. Machines are more expensive, but you can use your credit card or laundromat card for most washing/vending machines in the laundromat which is convenient. However, on my first and possibly last visit, I've already had too many poor interactions with management. There was no welcome or hello, just someone half sleep and angry, unwilling to help me sign up for a card. Then she was very unwilling to even assist people who had their money eaten up by broken vending machines, and massage chairs, which they neglected to put an out of order sign on, even after requested by different customers. Their response is: play at your own risk. You could at least have a sign for that! read more

This place is pretty dope. When I called to see if they were open today, I was surprised to hear that not only were they open, but open 24/7. Attendant was very helpful in assisting me in getting my laundry card. I already have a washer/dryer at home but needed a large capacity washer for a large comforter. I was impressed with the size of the washer (can take up to 80lbs of clothes) and only costs 9.99. It costs another 1.20 if you want an extra wash and rinse. This place is pretty modern and clean. This place is amazing. I was in desperate need of washing a queen size comforter and area rug. This place is huge, clean, and the lady who works here is amazing. It's hard to find her at first but if you ring the bell at the desk she will come. I couldn't figure out which size machine to use for my items and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She also explained how the free dry works. They have free wifi. They also have massage chairs and vending machines for snacks and laundry essentials.
