Wanted an indoor laundromat with air-conditioning and free WIFI. What sets this place apart is Sarah, the Attendant. She helped me buy a laundry card (which costs $2) and she helped me add soap to the washers. I would have put the soap in the wrong compartment. I used a 6 load for blankets and towels, a 4 load for clothes, a 3 load for throw rugs, and a 2 load for velvet party outfits. That totals 15 loads! It was $21 for the washers. Dryers cost 45 cents for 7 minutes, which is really a good deal because I only spent $4.50 to dry everything, including heavy towels and rugs. This laundromat deserves 5-stars because my clothes, towels, linens, and rugs smell so clean and my heart is happy. read more

When I walked in, I was greeted right away by the staff. I was traveling so I had limited access to laundry service and I was pleasantly surprised by the Drop Off Service offered at The Laundry Spot. They weigh your clothing and charge by the pound. I brought clothes hangers and they were happy to hang my shirts and trousers. They even put them in a blue plastic bag for me, such a nice touch. When I picked them up everything was neatly folded and hanging. I was in and more importantly out in minutes and it only cost me $10 plus tip. Ive been coming to this location for years. I like how they recently changed the parking lot for easier parking. This time around there was none so I had to drive around for ten mins to find a open spot. I took a star away because one time a lady tried to restart the washer and somehow the bleach leaked on my brand new hoodie and ruined it. Also the other day my laundromat card did not work so I asked for help. I knew I had $3-$5 on it but instead she just gave me a card with 50 cents on it. I haven't been at this laundromat, located along Federal Highway, in years. While cleaning out my purse, I came across their wash card which I was still holding on to. After dropping my son to work, I decided to stop by to inquire about the card. The place still looked the same...large, air conditioned, and clean with numerous updated washer machines in various sizes and dryers. I met one of the attendants who was pleasant enough to answer the questions I had. She informed me the wash card I had was discontinued five years ago and I had to get a new card. The wash cards are issued by a machine on the wall. You can add money on the card with either cash, credit, or debit card. The attendant told me the prices to operate the various machines. Some were $2.75, $4.00, $5.00, and $7.00. Depending on how much drying time you would need, you will need either $0.30, $0.45, or $0.55 to operate the dryers. Until the dryer at home gets fixed, I will have to rely on the laundromat to get my clothes clean and smelling good. Had an amazing experience with this wash and fold service... It was $1.25 a pound and we had a pretty big order since our washer and dryer have not been installed yet... They were very nice over the phone and even nicer in person when they were going through The process of explaining how everything works... Kat was the person who took care of our laundry and she did an amazing job...everything was folded and wrinkle free... The facility was clean and I was able to drop off the type of detergent I preferred. They even washed the bag that one of my loads was inside of... I will definitely use their service again. I've lived in Hollywood for two years and unfortunately I do not have a washer and dryer or hook ups in my apartment. My apartment complex does offer a washroom, but the machines are old people wash things in the machines that run your clothing and for myself it's not really a good option. I had started out at another cleaner laundry in Hollywood and I've actually visited two or three others, once I found this laundromat it is my permanent laundromat they're clean they're run well because they're open 24 seven you can always access the machines and I like that you purchase a card and insert the card. The machines aren't checked often. The use of mask being worn at all time isn't stressed. If you lose your card you can't cancel it. Imagine the anger I felt after drying my clothes and finding someone's nasty deteriorating face mask entangled in the dryer I was using. The mask was stuck in the crevasses of the dryer. read more

Great laundromat to use, as it's open 24 hours. Keep in mind that these machines no longer take coins, so you will need to purchase a rechargeable card and cash/credit is accepted. Pretty clean for the most part and there are plenty of machines to use (washers and dryers). Using the rechargeable card and the machines themselves can be a bit tricky if you have never used them before. Laundromart Hollywood can get really busy during peak periods (early morning/early evening), so it may be hard to get the machine that you want. read more

Personally, I love this place. I went to a swiftys off Pembroke and everytime I left my clothes smelled AWFUL!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Laundromat is efficient, clean, no coins - you pay once $2.00 for a card and you can fill it with cash or your debit card. Which I find extremely convenient. It's inside and air conditioned which is nice. It's really never slammed with people and the people that are there are pretty friendly. Go anywhere but here! Machines ruined my clothes. Staff was aggressively rude about washing machines automatically telling me it was my fault for using the machine.......as if I should have known better than to use that specific machine!? So apparently some machines are known by management to ruin your clothes but instead of placing them out of service to fix them they allow them to stay in use ruining people's clothes. The woman even admitted this machine had ruined others clothes and when asked why it is still in use she stated "it's not my problem". As I've said a completely horrible place. Older woman with short hair working here is extremely rude. Any question you ask her will be treated as though you're asking for her first born child. I also witnessed a woman,dressed in what I believe was African tribal wear, lose money to their snack machine & request her change back. The clerk responded that that's not her job for her to contact the vending machine manufacturers. Then continue to say that things are done differently in North America... Well it's a laundromat. Decently clean inside. Having just moved here from Colorado I found the prices to be good. You have to pay $2 for a card but if you put $20 on the card you get it back. No big deal. On a Saturday afternoon there was plenty of open washers. The mega load washers seriously hold a ton and at $5.69 they should. I put a comforter, sheets, a few towels and a robe in and there was still plenty of room in it. So I moved that load to a slightly smaller and cheaper machine and there it still plenty big for what I thought was a large load. read more

Update: their smallest washers are now $1.79 but their dryers are still $0.30 and increased the time to 8 minutes per instead of 7 minutes. This is one of the few laundromats that uses the card system instead of coins. I prefer this method so this is pretty much the only place I come to do my laundry. I only wish that they make the place a little cooler because it gets very warm inside even with the fans on. read more

I wish I had the option to give zero stars. The service attendants are very rude. Washers also stink. Not to mention break down while clothes are in the wash and can't get your clothes out unless you force the door lock open. Then they don't refund or have an emergency card with the attendants for situations like this one in particular. So had to move my clothes to new washer just to wash my clothes again. That place is clean and the lady who works on Thursday afternoon is really nice but the hat inside is insane!!

I accidentally put my clothes in the wrong machine when I already had a serious time constraint to deal with... I asked the woman on shift (older woman with reddish curly hair cut short) if there was any way for me to stop the machine and she just gave me a rude half response about how it will run for the amount of time paid... then she went on her happy little way gossiping with the other workers, not a shred of concern for the fact that she is employed by this establishment to help the customers (and it was really just me and 2 other customers using the facility so she was not swamped by any measure). Horrible attitude, what a horrible experience! Will be throwing away my laundry card for this place that has money on it and never coming back to this horribly disrespectful establishment. read more
