Arrangement had more carnations and filler flowers than stemmed flowers and looked more like a $35 arrangement than $75. When we arrived, the Sound Tech had everything set up and ready to roll. However, we ended up moving the dance floor to a different location, and he moved everything for us. Everett was our DJ, and he kept everyone dancing by playing the songs we'd picked out. He was accommodating by shortening songs when needed (our first dance song was really long, so he cut it when we gave the nod), and he took requests, which my dad definitely too advantage of (haha). The owner, Leasha, was great, and very interested in getting feedback on our day so they can always be improving. That's an awesome trait in a business owner. SwissAm (with Erika at the helm) did a completely fabulous job catering our wedding reception. Our wedding was in early May and when we got back from our honeymoon people were still raving about the food. The beef tenderloin and mashed potatoes were especially huge hits, and I can tell you that our international fruit and cheese display and little tasty meat bites during cocktail hour were very appreciated by our guests. I had the best brie I've ever had actually, on the wonderful cheese assortment Erika had set aside for us at the head table. I also found Erika very organized and easy to work with. I tell you what, that was not my experience getting quotes from other caterers. Take the time to sit down with Erika and talk about what you want and she will make it happen.

I came to Wendy a bit hesitant with the whole idea of building my own site not sure where I was going to go with Smile in a Jar. She got to work right away and assured me I will be 100% satisfied! Both our ideas collaborated and she created an easy system for my customers. I am one indecisive person and need everything to be perfect, but no problem with Wendy--she took everything I said and turned it into exactly what I wanted--even if it took me a bit longer to figure out what it REALLY was that I wanted. She took everything like a champ! Wendy truly has talent! I 100% recommend her. I received everything I wanted and more...with a reasonable price! I had the opportunity to work with the folks at Greenlight not too long ago when I signed up for…read moretheir 'Whole Foods Creates Whole People' class. I had just recently signed up as a CSA member and was working towards incorporating more organic food options into our daily meals and this was a perfect intro session for me to learn from. There were 6 classes held over conference calls with other registrants and the fee was very affordable. During these calls, we discussed how to determine what 'whole foods' are, how to find them (either via CSA's or in the grocery), and we shared recipes with each other that we had found were unique and tasty ways to prepare whole foods. The interactive sessions with the counselors were very helpful and they never hesitated to answer questions via email between sessions. They also provided handouts and the calls were recorded in case someone could not attend. The counselors with Greenlight seem very knowledgeable about Health Coaching but, more than that, they're passionate about their subject. And that helps to get the participants really motivated to take the suggestions to heart.
