A few weeks went by and I asked if there were any movement, would the attorney take the case, and I was told it was still being evaluated and the paralegal had been out sick. Fast forward several more weeks and I still hadn't heard anything, so I messaged the paralegal again, who got back to me in a day and said they were going to pass on the case. Of course they were, they literally know 2% about it. It's really too bad because there are multiple legal issues clearly documented in this situation. Overall, the experience was crappy. I don't think it should take any law firm five or six weeks to tell you they're not going to take your case.
