I signed several papers and never even got copies of anything. This might be a decent law firm but I feel like I didn't do enough research and went with the first attorney I met. THE LAW COLLECTIVE ,Elliot came to Eagle Rock to discuss a potential case with my dad who is a senior, my dad told him he would like to think about it after discussing the incident, Elliot then responded ( your gonna make drive all the way down here and not not sign the papers, I couldn't believe it. I then told Elliot, are you serious, your gonna try to pressure him into signing the papers, Elliot then tried to laugh it off and stated ( you'll have a Tesla like me or a RV like the one next door. My dad said let me think about it because we have a attorney we work with who charges 33 % Elliot then stated I'll do it for 25%. I told my dad not to sign to wait till I got back from my dentist appt, by the time I got back Elliot was gone and my father signed. Elliot wants my dad to sign settlement papers with out telling him how much he would receive, who would do this, you got to be crazy to do that. First of all, thank you, Elliot, for your help, without it I think I would still be waiting for referrals. Last year, I had a slip and fall accident. I hurt my wrist, knee, and ankle. I tried going through my doctors but the wait time for the referral from my doctors was too long. Few months after my S&F, I met Elliot. We talked about how my accident happened and told him I was waiting for referrals to go through, he was very helpful. I was hesitant because another lawyer's office said my case was a lost cause, and they couldn't help me. Elliot did not care about that, he cared about helping me. He said, "the first thing is taking care of the pain". He did mention it might be a hard case, even maybe no case, but did not care about that. He had Jazmin, set up an appointment with the doctor right away, all I wanted was to get rid of the pain, I got the brace for my wrist, and the MRI I was long waiting for and began going to PT. Elliot and Jazmin would check in with me to give me updates. I was having hard time at work because they wanted me to take off time to recover but, I couldn't afford staying without work. I literally lost everything when I injured my back at work during Covid as an essential worker for a company who's worker's comp insurance adjuster was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!
