I never feel out of the loop about what my kid is learning or how she's doing. they actually keep parents in the loop which as a mom is everything. the hours work well for working parents, 7am to 5:30pm gives you real flexibility which is hard to find at quality preschools in Fresno. the learning environment is hands on and engaging. looking at the photos you can see kids actually doing things, creating, exploring, not just sitting at desks. that approach matters at this age. W Spruce Ave location is convenient and the facility is clean and safe. five stars across every review means this isn't just my experience, it's consistent. if you're looking for a private preschool in Fresno where your child will genuinely thrive, The Growing Patch is the one. we are so grateful we found it.

I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have come across such an amazing place that not only accommodated crazy work hours, but also went above and beyond for our little princess. Helena was shy of two years old when she started attending Stepping Stones. One of the things that stood out for me how she was treated with love since day one, and nurtured in ways that allowed her to grow and develop secure attachments. Although she was saying a few words here and there, it wasn't until she started going there that she began speaking full sentences. We were highly impressed with how quickly she adapted to her environment and thrived with the help and attention of the staff. I am sure this would not have been possibly at home, not even with the encouragement we gave her. Another thing I liked was the student to teacher ratio. Because of the reasonable numbers, our daughter was able to get a lot of individualized attention. Not only was she nurtured, she was also disciplined accordingly when needed. The constant communication we had with staff during times she acted out was reassuring. She was held accountable and it was done so with love and care. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service rendered. I would also like to add how reasonably priced they are in comparison to other facilities. I have met some of the most wonderful teachers here and would encourage anyone to send their little ones here. The structured classes, amazing teachers and prices make this place a 10 in my book.

Passionate about seeing every child succeed. The teachers are kind, knowledgeable and deeply committed to creating an environment where every student feels welcomed, supported and safe. The academic program has exceeded my expectations year after year. Bluff View combines academic excellence with a genuine commitment to each child's growth and well-being, something that is increasingly rare. Without hesitation I highly recommend Bluff View private school. It is truly an educational gem in the central valley and we feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful school community!

She didn't ask our names, our relation (there were four of us), she didn't introduce herself. She had an incredibly difficult time providing explanations, would give vague detail, followed by "you can read the handbook", and an overall condescending tone when i tried to follow up. The disconnect was very apparent, as my party agreed separately that she was very slow and disoriented. We found her demeanor to be questionable. After discussion, we concluded if we sent our daughter to Bluff View we would be concerned with her stability as owner & admin. Overall, we will be crossing this off of our list for good. Strong recommendation to all new parents to take a tour and go through that.... interesting experience before handing over 250$ for application fee.

When we walk into the school the director greets us every morning and genuinely checks on the children. Once we walk through the main entry, there is a wide open green field and 3 play grounds in sight. It is always a breath of fresh air and every thing I ever dreamed of for my children. I really enjoy that walk to class and every morning we pass through the preschool garden and check on the preschool chickens. The classes are small with two wonderful teachers assigned to each class. These are trauma informed educators that took the time to understand and work with one of my babies that just needed a little bit of compassion and understanding. Any obstacles we have faced have been handled with love and problem solving. Any parent that has experienced the heartbreak of loving a child that just needs grace, will understand how thankful I am to have found Fairmont and all the educators there.

Every morning our son asks if it is a preschool day and his language abilities have grown so much since enrolling 6 months ago. We can't wait to enroll our toddler too. I would especially like to commend Lydia, Ashlyn, Ms. Sierra and Ms. Harpreet for always going above and beyond for us. Thank you Fairmont, you are always going to hold a special place in our hearts even when our kids have moved on :)

You go through friend referrals and take tours, but every place just felt disorganized, or unstructured or just weird sad vibes. I then went on a visit to Brighten. I've seen the facilities everywhere, and I had a coworker go to a facility near her, but I wanted to check it out myself, and this place is perfect for my little guy! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. And they're consistently friendly and helpful, not just on your first day. When I drop off my son, I always am greeted with happy and cheerful staff. They are also very organized with their day. There is a large playground outside and they play outside at least twice a day. They provide full meals for breakfast and lunch which is included in the tuition. I also love that they provide a daily written check in of how your child did at the daycare. We've been at this facility for almost 3 months and my son loves it. The staff was friendly, especially the ladies at the front desk. Those were two very big positives. They also fed the kids which was nice. However, my child kept getting incident reports, multiple a day. I started to feel really down on myself as a parent. I didn't know what to do because the behavior wasn't the same at home because she's an only child. I got calls to pick up my child, but I was at work. It was hard. I understand safety is important but my child was not even 2 years old yet. She had to be taught and sending her home wasn't teaching her. She never bit a kid. She was rough or ran from teachers in the class and on the play yard. I feel like that's normal behavior for not even being 2 yet. She needed exposure and to be taught the expectations. I don't understand how she could be doing such bad things to be sent home. I finally ended up pulling her because my husband was told she was sitting in the office for an hour crying the whole time. My husband took off work and picked her up and she was sobbing and couldn't stop. He sent me a video and it was awful. Toddlers should not be treated that way. I didn't feel comfortable. That was not appropriate punishment for her age. I teach 5 and 6 year olds and we don't have them sitting and crying for an hour. I never took her back. Safety is important, I know. They said they were following rules, okay. I completely understand them having to follow the rules. It was just not for my child, so we left. She was there about a month. I waited to review because at the time I didn't know if my child was just THAT uncontrollable. No. I feel like she needed to be taught and needed AGE appropriate redirection/consequences. She's at a new daycare now doing great for the past 8 months!
