We have been here for 6 years. Each kid started as a baby post maternity leave. I highly recommend this location for working parents. Very reliable. I was confident the kids were safe. They have a App telling you when the kids are checked in and out, eat, potty, play plus pictures. They also have a camera (that honestly I watched a ton while pumping at my desk at work). My daughter has been going here for 4 plus years now. Most of the teachers are fantastic, and any that have been an issue didn't last long. I trust at least one enough that if she wanted to take my daughter on a plane, I wouldn't say no. We didn't know her before coming to childtime, and her and my daughter developed a strong bond. I definitely don't worry about my daughter's safety while there, and they do pick up and drop off at the elementary school next door. We have been at Childtime since 2017 and have had 2 kids attend, both starting at 3 months old. The staff have always put our children's health and safety at the forefront, which alleviates the stress associated with leaving our children in the care of others. As a baby, my son often had respiratory trouble and the staff went above and beyond to communicate with us every day and help us navigate the treatments he required. As he has grown, the teachers have taught him counting, writing, days of the week, months of the year, etc. and I feel that he will be well-equipped for Kindergarten.  In addition to the academic work, the teachers go out of their way to make sure the kids have an enjoyable experience and plan fun activities to keep the kids engaged. My daughter is currently in the one-year-old room and loves going to school every day. She pushes past me to run to her classroom every morning so she can hug her teachers. They spend a lot of time reading to the children and doing creative arts and crafts, which has had a positive influence on my daughter who now loves to come home and look at books or color. In addition to the teachers and staff treating the children like family, the administrators are always helpful and go the extra mile to accommodate our needs, which is especially helpful in the current time. I understand kids get sick and I'm all for strong immune systems but the school is not clean! More often than not there isn't anyone at the front desk checking temperatures so it's easy to miss kids coming in with viruses and bacterial infections...yes bacterial infections!! We moved here over the summer, my kids went to daycare at another facility in the town we moved from and never once caught HFM or Impetigo (which means the facility isn't cleaning properly or staff just isn't aware of the signs and symptoms). It makes me sad to write this review but hopefully it will change the way staff practices in the facility and hopefully other children will not have to endure what mine did. All the other negative reviews are true, the staff in the classrooms do seem over worked, tired, and not interested in their jobs. read more

My family has been with this school since 2018 and we love it! As a working mama, it's hard to leave my kids, but the staff and teachers at this school are the sweetest, most loving people. My almost 4 year old has grown up here and is so comfortable and well taken care of. I'm always amazed, but not surprised, at how well they know her and her, them. It makes my heart so happy! She has learned SO much and has made so many friends! Her teacher is great with the kids and does a lot with them! My almost 9 month old is in the infant room (that's some tough work!!) and they love him so well. They really learn and get to know these babies, as well as create a safe environment for them to spend the day in. Kristina, the Director, is amazing! I can only imagine the work load she faces, especially in times like this, and she is doing great! She does it all, from being on top of classroom ratios and school cleanliness to helping my daughter find her lost stuffed animal. We are so thankful for her! As a teacher myself, and growing up with a mom working in the childcare industry, I can confidently say this is a great school! Childcare is hard work and this team is killing it! Two stars. My daughter was in the toddler room for a year before we pulled her and moved her to a different daycare. Some of the staff was amazing. SO caring, and sweet. But you can see they are over-worked, and the ratio of kids per adult was never what it should have been. My daughter caught every bug you could imagine while here. Before child time she had NEVER been sick. There were always babies with snot running down their faces, filthy clothes, and coughing all over the place. My daughter was here from the time she was 1 until she turned 2, so she was learning "how" to eat with forks and spoons, drink from cups without a lid, etc. I get that, it can be messy. But the clothes I would send her in often came home destroyed. Covered in food, marker, and mystery stains. She was also teething a good portion of the time she was there and I was called out of work more than once to come get her for whining.... AFTER leaving Tylenol with a note of permission there that if she seems to have teething pain she was allowed to have a dose. They LOST the medication and the note. I will say she did learn a lot while at Childtime. She could count to 10, say her colors and ABCs all before turning two. She did take a liking to two or three of the teachers there, and we appreciated those girls so much for their hard word and sincerity. read more

I'll be honest... You may not want your kid here. I leave 2 stars because asset least they have the accountability of an app to check if daily routines were performed, however this is most likely at minimum to assure you they care. It's unfortunate, most of the workers are just functioning, it happens... Just not what i want my kid around... Maybe this place isn't good for children at an early age... Maybe the staff don't know how to interact until children have developed. Idk But my child left unhappy and i felt as though i had wasted money to neglect my child. I couldn't do it again. You're children might be safe here, they might even have days to play and fun things planned, but as for my expectations this isn't where my child should be. My child is now 2 1/2 and has transitioned from infant to toddler two room. Our primary teachers are now Miss. Donnise and sometimes Ms. Lana. Miss Donnise started as a co-teacher when my son was an infant, and now she is teaching full-time in the twos room. I can't even begin to tell you how blessed we are to have her as our teacher. She is detail-oriented, patient, smart, loving and goes above and beyond to ensure her students are provided the best learning experience possible. She is life-changing. Ms. Donnise and staff maximizes the resources given to ensure that all aspects of toddler learning are reached. Donnise's imagination is endless. Childtime teachers incorporate STEM into their daily activities. They follow the Clovis Unified curriculum that will prepare my little one for Kindergarten. My two year old can carry on a full conversation about many topics, such as dinos, vehicles, stages of a bee, what a house is made of(love)...I can go on! He sings songs and can solve basic math problems(5-2=3) using the counting skills that he's learned. Donnise sends brightwheel updates that are so detailed and informative, so i get to see what my son is learning for the day. Miss. Lana like a sweet grandma to my son. She always gives him hugs and kisses and lets him know how much he loves her. She treats my son as if he were family. Childtime also promotes and assists with potty-training when your child is ready. The school will put together fun events like Popsicles with Pops or Mother's' Day tea parties. They have themed weeks and fun special guests such as the Bubble Man, Clovis PD, Clovis FD, Magicians, Santa, etc. My son has developed a wide palate for a variety of foods Because of Childtime's amazing menu and on site cook, Ms. Thea, he is introduced to a vast array of foods that we wouldn't normally eat at home. Ms. Thea constantly checks in on my son and lets me know what kinds of foods he favors. Some days, my son asks if he can stay with Donnise and friends. The facility is not well ventilated with no air sterilization system to rid germs and dust. The air is stagnant and humid. The surfaces of kids tables, chairs, and toys feel grimy and crusty. The toddlers are inside small rooms all day with very little to play with and usually never go outside. This is bad news for active kids who need an outlet for their energy; and who wants their kids to be imprisoned in a room all day? The daycare workers look sad and burned out. I witnessed little to no interaction with the kids. They show no empathy to toddlers who are under stress from missing their parents and in a new environment or who have been sick. Their inability to handle toddlers tells me that they are uneducated in child development. The people in the office are rude with no social skills. Showing no warmth or compassion. Only staring at the computer and looking at you blankly when you try to engage them or answering your questions in a cold manner. My son would run for his water when he got home because they only offer drinks at mealtime. I'm thinking they do this so they change less diapers throughout the day. I would pick up my son starving, dehydrated, and completely stressed out. The toddlers and babies here seem catatonic and unresponsive. None of the kids I saw looked happy. Kristina, the director, told me that it was sad that parents leave their kids there all day. My kids have been attending Child Time for over 5 years! We absolutely adore the center and the school Director Ms. Kristina. She is a true professional and is always available to listen to any concerns I might have related to my kids. Attending for as long as we have we have seen teachers and care providers come and go which really is inevitably in such a setting. That being said Child Time does have a few teachers who have been with the center for 20+ years which in my opinion speaks for itself! My kids met other kids through Child Time who have become lifelong friends who they see as companions and confidants. Child Time, along with the Director, teachers and care providers have been a staple for me and my kids for many years. We will continue to attend until they age out of the center. read more
