Did not greet with a smile, when touring the infant room she told me there were 1 teacher per 4 students. There was 5 kids in there with no other teacher or helper. She told me 6 are enrolled and when there more than 4 they will hire another teacher, as there were more than 4 students in there I kinda looked at her in confusion. I was trying to lighten the mood make jokes and she was not smiling or acting friendly at all. Looked like she hated her life. Then she was telling me I had to put a down payment today to secure a spot and after I said isn't there a special going on, she rolls her eyes and said "oh yeah, but that 200 goes towards your first month". She was just not welcoming at all. Megan called me the day prior said that she will be doing the tour and wanted to chat after the tour about the position I applied for. Megan did not once greet me when walking in, only when I was going to the front to leave then she wanted to say hi and that's it. When Natalie was asking for clarification, Megan gets up and said yes that's it and goes back into the office. We did not have a chat after. For 2500$ a MONTH. My little guy was immediately comfortable with the teachers (and he's usually very shy at first!) and they let him stay and play as long as he wanted to. We immediately felt that this was the school for us. The environment was warm and friendly, and you can tell that a lot of thought goes into the planning of the classrooms and planning out the school year. The teachers all genuinely care about your child, and the focus is on PLAY. Play is the way preschoolers learn, and my son has shown so much social and emotional progress in his first year of school. We're so happy with our decision to send him here, and are so excited to send him again next year before he goes off to kindergarten :)

The primary class (ages 3-6) is a great start to a lifelong love of learning. The children learn at their own pace, and choose to work on what they're interested in learning that particular day. Besides the wonderful classroom environment, the school provides field trip opportunities as well. Now the real star of the show is the Elementary classroom. The school has small classrooms so the children can experience so much more one-on-one time with their teacher (Mrs Bridget) and harbor a wonderful relationships that will last a lifetime. Each spring the class takes a trip to "Nature's Classroom" where the students stay in cabins, spend ALL DAY outside and get to choose their "breakout sessions" aka what they'd like to focus on that day. Every year, my child comes home and tells me he wishes he could go to Nature's Classroom all the time! Montessori Pathways is definitely molding wonderful young folks to be incredible adults. They are one of the only Montessori schools in the area that still has actual Montessori guides in the classroom and not just as adminsvto maintain their status. They continue to keep the methodology alive and help the students blossom. My child comes in excited every day to see each of the teachers and children there. She is not yet in the Elementary program but already knows and loves even the Elementary teacher-they are THAT caring. We have had the pleasure to attend the many events they hold and see how the teachers and director interact with the kids. You cannot fake this kind of love, care, and affection. The children clearly feel safe, happy, excited, and empowered here. And the teachers truly live and breathe this-theyre not just there for a paycheck. Our daughter has learned so much and grown so confident in herself and most importantly, she LOVES to go to school and learn. We are so thankful for MPS!
