My daughter recommended her favourite place for pampering which is the Brow Babe. I was super excited to go, as my daughter Nicole had phenomenal make up and braids done there many times before. First thing I want to say is their space is very cool and so relaxing. I could have hung out all day taking in the atmosphere. Going to one place and getting your makeup and hair done at once is awesome. Taylor did my make up. Her attention to detail blew me away. She takes her work so seriously. I felt amazingly comfortable letting her do what she does. I don't wear much make up but she made me feel incredible wearing it. It was perfect for me with unreal lashes. She really is a make up artist! Wow! I felt like me times lots of confidence rocking it. Next up it was Whitney who is a amazing braider. It was unreal. I watched her help two other clients before me and I was sold on her artistic creativity. Honestly I was so happy with what she did with my hair. Genevieve was so professional, meticulous and personable. It was a fantastic experience. She goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and uses an incredible numbing agent that makes any discomfort very minimal. (Especially on the lips which can be so sensitive) Her studio is very welcoming, comfortable and impeccably, clean and sterile. Over the years I have had two more appointments with her to touch up my brows and they are absolutely perfect. 2 years ago I had her do permanent eyeliner as well as tattoo lip blush. I have recommended her to friends, family, and coworkers whom all had amazing experiences as well. You can always hear stylists chatting with their clients and having fun while "beautifying". Esther's skill in ethnic hair is a welcomed comfort to anyone looking for Black hair care, special needs for hair loss and weaves and extensions. No one is more informative and keeps the interests of her clients in the forefront of every consultation. When I arrived there, the esthetician told me she only did clusters so I agreed to them, though a little disappointed. Once complete I took a quick glance at the mirror, paid and left. Upon arriving at work (10mins later), I took a closer look in the day light and to my horror the eyelashes were terrible!!! First of all, clear glue was used and gooped on so much you could see clear glue chunks on my eyelashes. They were heavy and looked terrible. My co-worker/friend looked and asked "Holy! What happened to your eyes!" Needless to say I went back right away. After talking to the owner (i'm assuming she's the owner), she looked and said there was nothing wrong with them, i was almost in tears because they were so horrible, she did not want to give me any reimbursement because I had already left the salon (I was only gone for max 30mins). She wasn't willing to do anything, so she gave me a little bottle of glue adhesive remover and told me I could do it myself!!! Worst experience of LIFE at a salon! I have no idea why that place is still open. Terrible service, very unprofessional. I guess you get what you pay for after all.

They brought in John from Sunsera as a fill-in stylist, and he is the one who ruined my hair. I went in for blonde highlights. Instead, John turned my roots a very obvious light orange. My natural hair is brown, and the result was nothing like what I asked for. The roots were patchy, uneven, and impossible to hide. Afterward, the experience became even more frustrating. The salon was closed for three days straight, no one answered the phone, and no one returned a single call. I had to go to another salon because I needed to look presentable for work and couldn't walk around with orange roots. The second salon tried to fix it, but the color was so far off that they said I now need a full dye and highlight redo to correct it. I've already spent $120 at Lemon Tree and another $265 at the other salon, and my hair is STILL not fixed. Sunsera/Lemon Tree refused to take real responsibility. No apology, no correction, nothing helpful. They offered a $95 credit I will never use. They didn't provide any color-correcting products--no blue shampoo, nothing. I have photos of what my roots looked like before going to the second salon. This whole situation has been embarrassing, stressful, and unnecessarily expensive. If this is how Sunsera operates after taking over a salon, people deserve to know. I strongly recommend avoiding them.

It is clear now why the company needs to use Groupon to bring in business. The lady who did my mani pedi was great, however the quality of the services was subpar. Every single one of my shellac nails started pealing off within a day of my service where they usually last a minimum of 2 weeks and ended with me having to superglue the nails back into place for my bachelorette weekend - so sad - pictures below to prove. I had really considered returning to this spa exclusively after I was so happy with the initial service - after the lack of quality though I would not recommend this spa to others
