Min is a treasure and that makes me want to gate keep but I just cannot do that, he's incredible. I drove from LA to see him and it was well worth the time on the road. Min has been doing this for a very long time and it is very clear. He knew exactly what he was working with down to knowing specific details about the original framing process of the pieces. He walked me through all of the damage and gave me so many amazing/expert options. There are so many amazing options available and that was exciting:) I have a background in archival work and he has so much knowledge and is very trustworthy with anything brought into the shop. The framing studio is onsite which is also awesome because your work does not need to be sent out for any work, they take care of everything, super professionally, right there. When we arrived for our second trip to drop off all of the art, he was working with an older customer and watching the interaction was so special. He was so kind, even helping her to her car. Come to find out, they have been working together for 20 years(heart)! As we were getting the pieces ready, we had a really meaningful conversation and it was just all around more than what I could have hoped for. Everyone at the shop is great and I will 100% be returning to Min for future framing and will be referring everyone to this shop for all their framing needs.

She worked with me to bring the most out of the Japanese prints and to make the other 3 look good with less expensive options. As her website will tell you, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, to make an appointment. As a one-woman show, it takes a while to select frame type, frame color, borders, etc. So plan accordingly and make an an appointment. It took about 6 weeks for me to get everything back but that's fairly reasonable. Plan accordingly. Street parking is the only parking available. I had no problem finding parking but it is metered and can get tight as there's some cute restaurants nearby as well as the arts theater. Only glitch I had was calling Kris. She mentioned when I first met her that her phone was acting up. I left a message and didn't get a call back albeit she said she returned it and left a message. The second time around, she did call me back but left no message albeit again she said she left one. So don't take it personally in this day of technology mishaps!
