Custom frames are not cheap. Custom frames for sports jerseys are super NOT cheap so I called around for the best quote in the OC area. Arturo's quote was very competitive so I decided to bring my Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic autographed jerseys and a Luka Doncic autographed poster. He was very professional and provided recommendations as to what border and color will work best for the jerseys and poster. He was very patient with me and I could tell that he's done this for a very long time. I decided to go borderless for the jerseys but double matte border for the Luka poster. The results were spectacular (see it for yourself). Everything was professionally put together and Arturo made the jerseys so that it popped in the frame. The jerseys didn't look sloppy at all and the frame feels very sturdy. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer. If you're in need of a professional frame job, look no further! read more

Arturo is true professional! His shop is amazing, he has 43 years of experience and truly has an eye for art. He knows how to guide you based on your style, how it will fit in your house, and how much of the art you want to bring out. What I really appreciated was that he wasn't afraid to tell you when something didn't look good (sometimes my suggestions on frames and mats can be over the top and folks are afraid to tell me it's too much so I end up unhappy withh the unfinished product). He'll tell you why but use that to find something that will still compliment the piece while appealing to your vision! Not only that but he's fast! I was able to get maybe 5 pieces decided upon in an hour which at every other shop I've been to, it would take 1 hour per piece. He offers transparent pricing and I'll tell you that I was quoted by 5 other places (4 in long beach and 1 in costa mesa) and they were all really unjustly expensive despite the "affordability" they advertised. I've gotten frames done from michales, allen jefferies, art-to-frame.com, the framestore, and 2 other small shops (one in mid city and the other in highland park) so I know a thing or two about what framing can cost and have had different experiences with each. This place and service is by far my favorite! Arturo went above and beyond for me in every way and I trust my pieces are in good hands. This is a true small business that is honest, run by a family man, offers fast service, and never tries to sell you on something you don't need. I won't be going anywhere else to frame! This place is fantastic, and the owner, Arturo, is a terrific person that will help you find the right style to frame your art piece. I came in to ask of the options, and "Art" was tremendously helpful and friendly. I got an estimate, which was WAY better than Aaron Brothers, and a few days later, came back with my canvas print. He analyzed the canvas print and identified what could have been done to improve the work done. In addition to choosing the right frame, he recommended tightening the print onto the wood supports, and also said he would add additional support....at no additional cost. He said it would be ready in about a week. I dropped off my piece confident and assured it was in good hands. A week passes, and we come pick it up, and my wife and I are so happy to see the beautiful gold Liso frame with the tightening of the canvas (restapling) and added support. We had a large piece, 32" x 40" and the work and craftsmanship was beautifully done. There was no damage to our piece, and it came with the corners protected with cardboard, and good to go. The price was very good. A few months ago, we went to Aaron Brothers/Michaels to get a quote. Obviously, you need to take advantage of the coupons offered,but even then, the pricing doesn't even come close to what Art offers. The same look and style is double at Aaron Brothers/Michaels, and that's if they offer coupons and there's a special sale on it. You won't know when that'll happen, and you're going to overpay at AB/M. Go to Art and get the estimate. He's an honest and friendly guy who will give you great quality craftsmanship. At this point I think I've framed 7 or 8 pieces here and each time the process is incredibly simple. They walk you through all of your available options without making things overwhelming. They offer suggestions as obviously they've been framing art for quite a while and have a knack for what's going to look good for your work and where it's going to go in your house/business/etc. The pricing is incredibly competitive and much better than you'll find at any online frame shop and most of the all the quality of the framing is superb. He told me he would be able to get my print ready the same day without any additional fees. I decided to go in person and was assisted right away. My first review of this framing shop was in 2016, so this is just an update. And just as good if not better than the first. This time I brought in a stunning picture of Secretariat, in my opinion the greatest American athlete of all time. It took me forever to find the photo so I wanted it mounted and framed just exactly so. And it was. I am not a horse person (don't ride, don't go to races, etc.) nor are my friends, but all of us appreciate greatness and looking at this most excellent picture of this great horse in this most excellently framed presentation -- it's nothing less than breathtaking. Art, shop owner, and I puzzled about frame selection until he reached up and picked the right one. With all the possible frames available it can be a confounding task: you think you can see it as a finished product but you can never be sure. Art was pretty sure -- and he was spot on. Do what I do: trust his judgment, his experience and his eye for color. He hasn't been wrong yet and this is my 4th framing job -- all of them very very excellent. Money well spent. read more
