I had an old (1945), large oil painting cleaned and reframed at Picture This. I was astonished at how beautiful it looked when Marisol had completed the process. It is a family heirloom and was very, very dirty with smoke, dust and who knows what else. Marisol was able to bring it back to its original colors and I couldn't be happier. She was very patient with me as I was selecting the new frame. I also had a smaller oil painting reframed at the same time and she made good suggestions that helped me decide which frames to use. For a little bit more money than going to a big-box store, Mari created three perfect frames for a collection of posters for our front room. She took time to review the art in detail, suggest framing options, and give detailed pricing upfront. All of the posters had typical poster problems -- curvature, small wrinkles, and dents -- but you would never know. I have a lot more unframed stuff of a wide range of value, but I think Mari will make the cheap stuff look good and the "real" art look perfect. Mari also designed a custom metal frame for a gift. It was gorgeous and I greedily wanted to keep that frame for my own art! Also, the shop has very conscientious Covid distancing and sanitation policies. read more

We are so happy with our framed canvas! I brought in an old, beat up canvas copy of Garden of Early Delights from the Prado museum that needed a custom frame. Mari provided plenty of frame choices and ideas on how much of the border should be trimmed or shown. The canvas looks PERFECT in the frame and is beautifully flat/ preserved. However I can't comment on the quality of work because the place was closed during business hours with no indication of when it would be reopened. I've been getting posters, pictures, and other troublesome and special projects framed here for over 10 years, and I highly recommend it. The exceptional quality is reasonably priced and I don't think there is any framing problem or challenge that can't be beautifully completed. I simply will not go anywhere else. I would rather wait for Mattie to return from vacation or an errand, than to take my chance somewhere else. Marisol was great and gives wonderful insight. I brought a family print from my grandma and she helped reframe it. I couldn't be more happy!

I had two textiles that my grandmother had made and wanted to frame and preserve them. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the process, and helping me to pick out the best frames and matting to enhance each of the textiles. She hand sewed the pieces to the backer board with a lovely silk behind the textile. Everyone who sees them for the first time comments on them. Don't even think about putting them in the Michael's or Aaron brother's category. They are so far above them. Their work is professional, very high quality. I need to qualify my ranking for pricing - I think they're between Moderate and Pricey - but you get what you pay for - paying a bit extra for excellent service, knowledge and quality is worth it to me. I was so glad I picked this place. For quality framing, and great advice to make your project really come together, I'd highly recommend Picture This. read more

I absolutely needed to write a review after my experience. Mari was tasked with a very important project that required a short time line. She was so helpful and attentive to what I needed and was able to help me. The store felt very cozy and comfortable. She made my project feel just as important to her as it did to me and did a beautiful job with framing a memorial picture for a funeral. I don't even know where to start with this review but here goes: I brought in a moldy, dusty, enormous painting my father did when he was a kid on crumbly particle board of some kind that had been stored for more than 60 (yes 60) years in my grandparents garage. I unearthed it and fell madly in love with the idea of restoring and framing it but had no idea where to start. Mari took that painting and lovingly cleaned it, dried it out, revarnished it and somehow made a frame to fit (it wasn't even square) and didn't make me feel like a total idiot for going through all that trouble for a painting many would have just tossed in the trash. I can't thank her enough for her hard work, encouragement and time spent on something that means so much to me. Her price was fair, work was done in a timely manner and she was a pleasure to work with. Wow! Just sooooo impressed! I'm so glad I researched for a local custom framer rather than just going to the big name frame shop, I got top notch customer service and felt great during the whole experience.
