I had been working with another company and had disastrous results (if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is). My realtor, Melissa Wade, recommended I reach out to Diane to see if there was a anything she could do. Unfortunately, she tried to save that deal for me but was unable to. After a few months, at the urging of Melissa, I very hesitantly reached out to try again. Melissa assured me that Diane had a reputation to uphold, would tell me like it is and would not sugarcoat anything. So I tried again. The process was easy, even with my busy schedule as a full time single mom to 4, that also has a full time job, and volunteers in my "spare" time. I was able to complete all documents online and either fax or email them in. I was also given the option to sit down with Diane, either in her Kettering or Springboro office, to go over paperwork to make sure I understood all of it. Both Diane and Amy are kind and available for questions through several options, giving you honest and easy to understand answers. I will recommend them ANY time. Now, if you will excuse me, I have a house to close on!

I was scammed out of $134 due to a Shopify website that doesn't even exist charging me for child care with an IP address of a European country. I think it was Greece? My daughter is 27 years old. They said the product was delivered to my home. What exactly was it? Nothing ever arrived at my home and I disputed it for over 3 months with no resolution from you all. Why would I order child care from a website that doesn't exist in a European country when I have no children? Even the email address wasn't in my inbox anywhere for any receipt for any orders. This Bank used to be extremely good and then over the last several years it has gone downhill dramatically. When I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney general's office, I suddenly got a phone call from the Kettering branch and they were going to reverse the charge so that I had my money back. Not only did they not reverse it, but they took double the money out. So now they owed me $268 instead of 134. Then she said "no, I did that wrong Let me fix it and It should be in your account tomorrow." The next day came and it was not. I morning, took a couple hours off of work and drove to Kettering to speak to her myself and she said it was still pending on the back side but that it should be in there by the next morning. Again, it was not. They did nothing but lie to me and waste my time. How can I trust them with the safety of the little money that I do make? They protected a scammer instead of their client of 15 years. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this Bank. I know I won't anymore. And I'm making it my mission to tell everybody I ever meet in the area where these Banks are. I teach senior citizens to avoid scams for a living. Guess what First Financial Bank? My outreach is further than you can imagine. $134 is not going to make me or break me but it's my money and I want it back. Until then, I will continue to tell people how horrible of a bank you have become.

Things that used to be free are now fee based to the point where this bank is now the WORST AT CHARGING JUNK FEES. I called the executive office to discuss it and never got the courtesy of a return phone call. People still nice at the branch level, but management has gotten ar-o-gant. I am systematically moving my accounts elsewhere. Good-bye FFB and AMF.

There is poor communication, challenging loan experiences, and, in my opinion, unsatisfactory customer service. Do not get a car loan from here!! They have great rates, but making payments is horrible if you don't have an account with them. The app doesn't allow you to pay with an external account. They refuse to take payments by phone so you have to go to Day Air to make your car payments. They no longer have bank tellers so you must make your payment at their ATM. After withdrawing the cash for your payment, you also use the ATM to schedule a remote conference call with a teller who takes your payment. There is no privacy as the ATM is in the middle of the bank. Everyone knows your business. The worst part is that your payment goes into Day Air's savings account and it takes days; sometimes weeks to hit your loan account. It is up to their loan specialist to decide if they want to accept your payment and when they want to accept your payment. These " specialist " never return phone calls. They would rather send your account to collections and repo your car rather than work with you. Although, they are excellent at making threats. These people are absolutely heartless. People have lost their cars and their homes because of their shady loan tactics. Whatever you do, do not apply for any type of loan from these people; especially if you need a cosigner. They prey upon people like this; like us! My mom consigned for me. I regret ever financing my auto loan with Day Air. You are granted a 10 day grace period on your car payment each month. Im not sure why; because in Day Air's loan specialists eyes its nonexistent. If the signee is more than 1 day late, they freeze the cosigner's bank account and their auto loan account. How they are allowed to get away with these business tactics is beyond me.

IF YOU PLAN TO BUILD A HOME IN DAYTON OR CINCINNATI please AVOID THIS BUILDER!…read more I have been dealing with this company & every step has been a nightmare! After you sign the contract they begin the process of telling you how your home will be built. You are sent to a design center but are not allowed to pick colors, they use cheap paint & tell you to paint the home after closing using any colors you want & using better paint. The so called design center employees are just a bunch of old ladies with outdated opinions of what would look good in your home. ( WHY WOULD YOU PAY Inverness TO PAINT YOUR HOME & THEN PAY ANOTHER PAINTER TO REPAINT YOUR NEW HOME?) They made a mistakes in building which would have been covered with drywall if I didn't find the errors myself. I found broken framed out walls which would have been ignored! And now they made a mistake in flooring & advised me it would be cheaper for me to fix it myself after the closing! ARE THEY KIDDING! They are not willing to correct their error unless I pay to rip out their mistake & pay for the new tile & pay AGAIN for the tile guy to lay the correct tile! SERIOUSLY ????????? They make many mistakes during building & the building supervisor just has a title, he never catches any of the errors I found by simply opening my eyes! Building your dream home should be a pleasure & not a headache! I have built many homes in town but this is the worst experience I have ever had! Do your homework, AVOID INVERNESS HOMES!

My wife and I had similar experiences at Carriage Trails. There is absolutely no transparency on…read moreInverness's part. The houses and area sells itself. Inverness knows that, so they put very little effort in providing a good customer experience. I knew we should have walked out immediately after the Inverness sales agent pressured us about using her son, who was returning from a three month Pacific siesta, to sell our house - how much commission money do you have to make off of your customers?!!! When we told her that we wanted the model home exactly as it was, she quote a price in the low $300k range (before we went to the Design Center, Inverness listed that house for sale at $461,900 in the Parade of Houses event). The $325k seemed reasonable. When we signed the paperwork to make it official, that's when you experience that Inverness upcharges for EVERYTHING! When we added what we thought was already included in the house, the price jumped to $365k. A few days later when we asked if the price included brick wrapping (it didn't) that the model home had, that brought the price to $386k - with her still trying to firm up pricing on other items. We could never get an updated and current quote from her. (Probably because even though we told her two times she had an email address wrong, she never corrected it). Also, when I asked her how much the taxes would be she told me that they would be really low since it was in Miami County. She told me $3.2k/yr. When I told her that seemed low, she said no. Then she re-did the numbers and said it would be closer to $6k. She couldn't even do simple math! Then we head down to the Design Center for your three house visit where make decisions on your entire house. Now that is an experience! Inverness doesn't give you any information beforehand, i.e. no brochures, no pricing, no nothing! There is no 3D modeling. Everything is done on paper, so you don't even know what the running total is of the things you are picking for your house. To make matters worse, the standard items included in your "luxury" home is garbage, i.e. standard faucets are chrome plated, standard honey oak cabinets are straight out of the 1980s, one color paint for the ENTIRE house (only one extra color available), etc. The problem is that there are about 5 levels of add-ons which make the prices ridiculous. You want to upgrade to Level 2 bronze faucets? Well, that's a $300+ charge for a set that Lowe's sells for $70 - you don't get a credit on the standard $15 faucet either! Furthermore, all the work done on your house is sub-contracted out. With the booming real estate market, Inverness is paying a lot more to get the work done. To make matters worse, they they turn around and and increase the price on that work so they make even more profit. When all was said and done, our house came in at $407k, which was $20k less than we thought it might be because, again, you have no idea what things are really costing. Our feeling was at that price, the house was 10-15% overpriced, so we walked away. I believe I am correct in the housing prices being over-valued. If you look at existing home sales in that neighborhood, some folks have asked for a 20+% premium selling price on a house that they just purchased in the last year or two. I'm surprised banks are valuing these houses as highly as they are. Shame on Inverness for conducting business like you do. p.s. When we decided we didn't want to continue with the process, the sales agent pre-filled out the cancellation form reason as: "changed mind"; to which I added "due to extremely poor customer service". We never asked for our deposit back, but a company representative called me. He agreed with everything I said - no kidding! But this is another example of where the company is so out of touch. He asked me twice if there was anything he could do to help us, WITHOUT MAKING ANY OFFERS? He didn't offer to give our deposit back. It almost felt like he was going to ask if knocking a $1,000 off the price would change our mind? If you ever have any questions, you can email me at: radroby123@yahoo.com
