At the start we were impressed…read morewith their thoroughness in the photography contract they had us sign, as well as their timeliness in getting back to us. HOWEVER, they were scheduled to begin taking wedding photos at 6 and finish at 8pm. Not only did they NOT arrive on time, they arrived 2 HOURS LATE!!! They not only missed all the wedding photos before the wedding which was during early evening (beautiful lighting), they missed taking pictures of EVERYTHING in the CEREMONY (except the last 5-10 minutes). We were on a very restrictive time schedule because wedding ceremony/reception were on a cruise boat that needed to leave by a certain time. We had to start the wedding ceremony LATE because we were waiting for them and we started the reception cruise and hour late because they were taking pictures. I asked them to stay on the boat (3 hours) although we had not paid for that service, in order for them to make up the hours and time they lost earlier. They said they could not stay on the boat because they were "photographing another wedding the next day and needed to get home." They did NOTHING to compensate for their horrible mistakes and unprofessionalism. They did not make us pay the remainder of our contract but the minimum they could have done was offer to refund our deposit or give us an album of our pictures or some service above and beyond what we paid for. They said "We're sorry." But that doesn't take back that they missed 2 hours of one of the most important events of my and my husbands life. It makes me sick to think we could have paid someone else who would have done the same job, probably better and would have been there for the time we had asked. They're extreme tardiness and the impact it had on the entire events of my wedding day, was by far the most stressful thing I experienced on my wedding day and all the prior months of planning. Again, the least they could have done was offer some form of compensation for their mistakes.

Hiring BACD was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding (Worst decision? DIY flowers. DON'T do it!!). They are both incredibly talented photographers with an amazing eye, not like the usually cheesy wedding photogs that make you do stiff family poses for hours. They got tons of really cool candids and the portraits had this dreamy, ethereal quality that looked like it came out of the pages of Vogue. First the engagement shoot. We had to reschedule our shoot last minute and Jim was VERY accommodating.
