Never stayed at the room but stopped here for dinner thinking it would be good. I was craving the burger and fries. I usually never order that because it's always impossible to have a hot fresh made burger and hot French fries. So I told the waitress to make sure not to bring me warm or cold fries, she said yes sir no problem. Food came and just as usual, luke warn burger and the fries were like pieces of cardboard, they were sitting probably for over an hour under a heat lamp. My dad and sis and I walked over to this hotel because we saw the lighthouse on the beach after eating at another restaurant near by. We immediately loved the ambiance when we walked in - lots of AC and great decor... We decided to have some desserts at the "Sands Al Fresco" restaurant that's part of the hotel. The restaurant has a beautiful view overlooking the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a full selection of mango deserts! I got the mango bread pudding with mango ice cream, my sis got the mango smoothie, and my dad opted for fried mango ice cream. They were all a HIT! Each dessert arrived with a beautiful presentation. Was able to stay here for only 2 nights and one full day, unfortunately. But will definitely be making this a longer stay when my fiancé and I come back to the Philippines. Right away you're met with a friendly and courteous staff who get you checked-in very quickly and up to your room. We had an aqua veranda room booking, and immediately wished we had booked a longer stay because of the amazing view and room quality. Everything from the bathroom to the personal balcony was top notch. Daily breakfast buffet was very good, with different traditional options (pancakes, waffles, eggs) as well traditional Filipino options (garlic rice, tapas, beef, congee, chicken). The pool area was a nice combination of seating/sunbathing and swimming area. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of the jet skis, boating, or banana boating. I didn't actually stay at the house Marina resort I ate there with my girlfriend The food though was absolutely horrible I ordered a fish sandwich with fries the fish were supposed be fried but was mushy not flaky like a good fried fish is the fries were cold mediocre and not well cooked whatever that chopped up green stuff was in the middle were off I was more like some kind a weed press clippings basically the food was so terrible I took three bites and threw it out left it my girlfriend that I was being picky so she tried it she to turn her nose up at it she is Filipino and she likes balute whatever you do don't eat there the food sucks the service is horrible I was waited for like an hour to get my meal I was like the only other person in the place granite it was pretty late at night but the food still was pretty shitty state the waitress nonexistent do you self a favor go eat somewhere else read more
