We can hear the waves while sleeping. Great working A/C, electric pot for hot water, robes, in room safe, strong shower pressure, clean pool, 2 min walk to baloy beach and other restaurants/resorts. The restaurant was good for breakfast and shakes, NOT for lunch nor dinner. Mediocre Filipino food! The beach front is clean, but at low tide there is a visible pipe that drains out to the ocean from the hotel (sewage?? I don't know just smells like it). I don't know how people can swim in that murky water, best option is the pool. Although someone cleans the short beachfront, trash constantly floats and brought by incoming waves from other resort. Front desk service, restaurant staff, and housekeeping was TOP NOTCH! All were friendly, professional, and greeted us every time (hence the 4 star). 2 min walk from baloy beach, however this is dirtiest active beach I've ever seen. A long stretch of trashy shores - empty trash bags, food wrappers, deadwood, dog-poop, and more. Mangrove is great for the drinks, pool, and view of the bay - that's it! Try driving up north to Bolinao.

So, if you're a fitness buff, you'll do great traversing the steps of this resort hotel. The view of this hotel is not so great. There is a small expanse of seashore you could walk around. At the time when we there (12/27/17) the hotel was being renovated. They were adding a casino on the second floor of the lobby. Cambusa Resturant on the lower level offer good breakfast buffet and the pool area is great for all ages. SERVICE: Excellent and very friendly. If you're looking for a place to stay in Subic Bay i do recommend staying here. The hotel is walking distance to many good restaurants and 5 to 10 minutes drive to Subic Bay Beach where you and rent jet skis.

Pleasantly surprised is what my reaction was when we arrived that late afternoon. We needed a place…read moreto stay for the Lubao Hot Air Balloon Festival and not being familiar with the area, we didn't know where the good places are. Well guys, this is it! When you step inside, it's like you're being transported back into another time. The place has been around for ages and I think the story's that it was a farm even before and they used to sell LPG tanks and if you go there you'd see that they made a gate out of those LPG tanks. If you take the time to go around, and you should because it's really beautiful, you'll see that they have an infinity pool, a replica of the Ifugao houses, a mini fish pond, a chapel and out back they have the farm itself where you can ask any of the people there to give you a tour or you can go have one by yourself. You'd find that they have wild boars and other farm animals living there. Don't let the rustic feel of the place fool you though, they have a building there that's fully renovated where you can sleep comfortably. The rates are also well within your budget I'm sure and if you're travelling in a group they have rooms for that too. You have two dining options there at Prado Farms: they have the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffet OR you can go local and dine at the Carinderia outside. Try to visit them when you're in Lubao Pampanga! If you're looking for a place to stay for the next International Lubao Balloon Festival or if you're there to enjoy the Wake Park, look no further. Did I mention that Prado Farms is walking distance from Pradera Verde, that's where both the balloon festival and the wake park is. You really just have to cross the street and walk to the entrance! Price was a bit much, by Philippine standards, but worth it when considering the alternative locations and places we could have stayed at in Olongapo or Barreto. Hotel restaurant was fine, but we were bored with the included breakfast by the time our ten day stay ended. Also, the main waitress was unable to put a smile on her face... in stark contrast to every other employee there... so probably needs some retraining (or a vacation). Her demeanor became our running joke during our stay. We actually took bets as to whether she would ever smile. We'd tell her little jokes to see if she'd crack a grin... Nope! WARNING: Room 310 has super thin walls... and an adjoining door to the next room over. People in that room had a crying baby and it sounded like it was happening in our own room! Halfway through our stay we had them move us upstairs to the 4th floor and an ocean view for a bit more money and were happy with the outcome.
