This is truly a beautiful and unique spot up at volcano. If you are in the area, driving by, or passing through, I definitely recommend it especially if you have kiddos. The farm is a family owned and operated space. You will be able to interact and learn from each family member there. Take a moment to speak to them, you might learn something new. The petting zoo was the highlight of my kids day. We prepaid online, showed up, and went to feeding the animals our grocery store foods: baby carrots and lettuce. We saw another patron had brought cut apples and cut bananas with peels on. I saw another person with feed so I'm thinking they may give you stuff, but highly recommend bringing your own because it makes the experience so much better, especially for the kiddos. They had bunnies, ducks, turtles, turkeys, goats, pigs, a donkey, cows, and chickens. Food/drink: nothing included for the petting zoo tour but they have a tea tasting with scones and tour which I wanted to do but the days didn't line up with our stay. They had a bunch of drinks like coffee, tea, hot chocolate for purchase and a really nice tent area to enjoy it. The mother and daughter duo were behind the counter serving up drinks! Tour: very laid back in the tour. Not sure if there was a start or finish cause our little one ended up running straight to the petting zoo. However, We ended up getting a tour of their vegetable garden including a "she shed" set up for quick shelter during the passing showers that might occur while gardening. The beautiful garden was such a delight to walk in. We spoke to the husband/owner at the end and learned a lot about the farm. Really an amazing business and I hope they are able to grow and flourish! The quietness is breathtaking. The weather always a bit interesting up at volcano but it was nice and cool with a bit of a mist here and there. Recommend boots if you can because there is poop if you don't watch your step. There is a lot of space to roam about through the petting zoo and tables in the garden. Only tight areas might be the bunny pen and vegetable garden. Bathroom: porta potty. Make sure to bring some wipes or hand sanitizer for your hands after. Pretty clean considering. Parking: lots of space in their designated parking are. Be respectful of the drive up there because there are a lot of locals and no other attraction around. I wish I could give this place more stars. But if the Yelp elite community is looking for a fun event, this is the place! read more

Amazing little farm run by the sweetest family! I accidentally booked our tour for the wrong day, but when we showed up, they were so kind and still welcomed us in. We were so grateful! The animals are clearly well loved--there were baby pigs, goats (one with her adorable kids), huge tortoises, a beautiful dairy cow, baby bunnies, and the sweetest donkey named Arthur who looked like he was smiling! My kids had such a great time. Their son Isaiah gave us the best little tour--he was so knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this place for a wholesome, fun family outing! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this farm yesterday morning when leaving Volcano and wow!!!! What a dream! We were shown around by the father and son who make you feel like family. We showed up unexpectedly and they were happy to show us around the farm and introduce us to all of the animals! Definitely call first and make a reservation, I think we got lucky. There was the cutest tea party about to start when we showed up. You must stop at this farm if youre in the volcano area, even if youre not its worth the trip! Great place for kids! read more

Such a beautiful place! The farm is quaint, intimate and ran with love. Kainoa and his family take wonderful care of all of the animals and land and they deliver a wonderfully unique experience. My son had the best time bonding with the bunnies, turkeys, mini-donkey, cows, goats and pigs. The animals seemed to live in harmony with each other and enjoy interacting with guests - especially since we came with a bag of carrots to share! Best day ever! Visited the farm and saw so many animals living in harmony. The grounds were beautiful, well designed, and well kept. We spent a few lovely hours at the farm . Kainoa gave us a tour through the farm and introduced us to their many beautiful animals. Each was lovingly named by the owner's children. Never before have I held a baby goat, and rubbed the tummy of a pot-bellied pig. Those were just a few highlights. All that animal love was followed by a beautiful outdoor spread of homemade breads, scones, and jam. Kainoa and Danielle are lovely people. Highly recommend Lili's House! Very genuinely nice people. All family run as their website states, and such a great family! The farm is well kept, set in a gently rolling pasture and filled with very friendly animals. The staff will introduce you to the various animals and then all the furry fun begins! It was the first time for me, to be around young farm animals, who wanted to be picked up and cuddled. Piglets, turkey tom, goats, Jersey calf, rabbits were all so gentle and full of aloha! When Kainoa led us to the barnyard, all the animals became vocal, including the2 piggies, who squeeled in delight. But besides the fun with pets, the whole place was very clean and had the distinction of classy landscaping and beauty. Special attention were the flowers and vines that were planted everywhere. The picnic area had a roof (for rain). There were fresh flowers, china, and candles on an elegant koa wood table. A fragrant fire was burning in the outdoor fireplace. The elevation in Volcano Village is one mile high, so the fireplace brought warmth and coziness to the dining area. The homemade scones and biscuits were served with jams and butter, prepared by Danielle and Kainoa's family. Visiting the Lili House Farm petting zoo was the highlight of our trip to Volcano. My husband and I took our young kids and parents and everyone had a great time. We were warmly greeted by the owner and his son. My son was scared of animals but by the end of the visit he was petting the goats and playing with the bunnies. My dad brought a lot of veggies to feed the animals which made it even more fun. Our parents could've stayed for hours talking with the owner about the interesting plants and animals and their family and farm life. We'll definitely be back next visit! read more
