From the time I've come to the classic Lounge till now they've never treat me with nothing but respect. If I'm there by myself there's somebody there to walk me out to my car or at least to the door. In the back they got some good soul food so even if you scared come on in and check out some of them collard greens and the dressing on Sunday not stuffing but dressing on Sunday and whatever else they have to offer. The alcohol is a little bit questionable which is why I would only order wine here but I ain't never been anywhere at a hood bar as folks call it and didn't question the alcohol. You have your nice bartenders and some not so friendly but if they know you they will make sure you were taken care of. Unfortunately just like most places in the city nowadays you're going to have fights and carrying on but it's no different from anywhere else in the world. The food in the back is good so even if you scared come on in and get some of them collard greens on Sunday. Trust me you'll be happy. If you really scared come during the day when Shelley is here.
