It sounds like they are yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. I am sure sound carries in this open area. I work from home and sometimes my clients ask about the noise. I can't leave any windows or doors open when i am on the phone. When I go outside to take a break, if the kids are on the playground, there is no relaxing. I think it would be helpful if the children were educated about this issue and be encouraged to use a reasonable volume when playing outside. We are a mixed use area and it feels like the entire area is dominated by the preschool noise.

I know she has a leg up going into kindergarten based on her time at North Shore Christian. The director, teacher, and assistant run a tight ship. They love the children and nurture them. The director has been there for decades and the teacher for about 20 years. It is my understanding that the majority of the last dozen or so valedictorians from Big Bear High went to North Shore Christian. Maybe there's something to the foundation they got from the loving faculty.

The kids enjoy sensory play regularly & a lot of art is incorporated into their days. My son knows his days of the week & is identifying more letters & numbers as his time here progresses. Ms. Christy runs her business so well. I'd give her ten stars if I could. She is very timely with anything administrative & also is so engaging with the students. I watched her help a new student acclimate by playing trains with them the other day & it made me really happy to see that she cares so much. All of the teachers we've had, Ms. Yessenia, Ms. Marina & Ms. Michelle have been exemplary. I truly appreciate the effort they make & the work they do to both educate and nurture. I've witnessed Ms. Michelle help a child who spilled in such an affirming & positive way; on a day my son was having a tough time with drop off she comforted & helped him which made both of us feel a little better. Ms. Marina is wonderfully receptive & I appreciate her going out of her way to connect with me & to reassure me. My son really loves both of them & Ms. Christy so much. Every morning when we arrive he excitedly calls out their names & is so happy to see them! I'm beyond grateful we found this school. My 3 year old started at the ROCK Quality Childcare September 3, 2024. Since then she has been…read morethriving through her teachers. Her motor skills, academic education, socialization, and personality have blossomed and thrived through the nurture, love, and structure her teachers and the preschool provide. They work with potty training and her learning experience has been absolutely incredible! The hours are 7am-5:30pm and each classroom has their own little mascot! She started out as a Busy Bee (2-3 year old class) and has now progressed to the Blooming Butterflies class (3-4 year old class). I cannot wait for my baby girl to join the Rowdy Raccoons (4-5 year old class) for the new year coming up and prepare for kindergarten and graduation there after. The hours work amazing for my college and work schedule and they do not go by the school district, so they are open a lot more days than other preschools nearby. They are open during winter breaks, spring break, most 3 day weekend holidays, and it has helped a lot with both my work and school. We are so glad we found this absolute incredible preschool! It is so scary as a parent to find and place the trust of your child with others, and here, that fear goes away instantly when seeing how fast your child just connects, bonds, and loves going there to see their teachers! One week into taking my daughter to Sharon's playhouse and she was comfortable and happy. They are very professional and treat my daughter so well. She is so excited to go and is always so happy when she is picked up. They helped tremendously with potty training, are always doing new activities, she comes home with a craft almost every day, and has learned so much! She even asks to see some of her teachers on the weekends! I never thought I would feel so comfortable dropping my daughter off to someone. Not to mention they are very clean and the set up is awesome and safe for the children.
