She took my paperwork and typed in my information, took my insurance information, and handed it back to me. With the same gloves on the whole time, then she proceeded to dig in the bin for what I hope is a clean needle. Draws the blood, and of course, she misses, then she moves to the other arm which I asked her not to do. Complete the draw and I walk out. She never even took her gloves off. She had 2 more pairs just sitting on the table. Not a clean or sterile practice. She is going to make someone sick or cause a bacterial infection

Have been using this lab service for nearly a year. You cannot get your results from a location…read moredifferent than the one they were taken, as their computer systems are not compatible. The location at Piedmont Hospital never understands how to take blood, spin it down and give back serum. My last set of labs reported incorrect results prompting an emergency room request. A repeat test showed the first labs were incorrect. There's gotta be a better choice in Athens!

I was recently there and Ms. Jasmine provided my service and it was excellent. The front desk was very nice as well and explained the paper work and the check-in kiosk was easy to use. Sometimes when people are sick they forget that there are others sick as well. Labcorps has policies like every other business. Don't be upset with them when they have to follow their company rules. It's their job to loose for doing something wrong not yours. Be kind and thoughtful and you will find they will reciplicate in turn. Shout out to the team there! So now I have to drive back to my doctor the following week to get another jar for my culture, my doctor is in Gainesville and it's a sputum sample so it has to be taken when I wake up. I take the sample in and as I'm not familiar with their procedures I sit down b/c someone was at the counter, well apparently the persons at the counter were friends of one of the desk clerks so they just totally ignored me and kept on chatting until I finally interrupted them. They finally told me to fill out the tablet first then they could take my sample. I wasn't there for them to draw blood or take any samples just drop one off, that was three weeks ago and still no results. I called them 2 days ago, answering machine said leave a message they would call back, no call, called again yesterday left a message 3 times still no call. I showed up 30 minutes early for my appointment, got a text to check in, so I went inside. Big mistake. The people next to me said they'd already been waiting an hour. When I asked the front desk why they would text me to come in if they're that far behind, I was told there's still at least an hour wait. So let me get this straight: I'm sick, you tell me to check in, then refuse to let me wait in my car because "patients need to wait inside"? Why? So we can all sit shoulder-to-shoulder, coughing on each other, while you run an hour behind schedule? If every patient is on time and you're just piling us up in a waiting room, you're not running a clinic--you're running a hostage situation. If you're this behind, don't text patients to come in and then not allow us to leave if we want to hold our appointment time??

The visit lasted a total of 30 minutes with less than 10 minutes of time spent with the actual provider. They prescribed me some cream and steroid pills. A couple weeks later I received my bill which was over $400! This was with the practice being covered by insurance and my insurance company covering a portion of the charge. Not only that, but the provider listed was an MD who practices in Atlanta. The codes they used for the visit were also not appropriate for the visit duration and type. I tried to contact them and get the codes changed for the visit, but they kept making excuses for how they could use the codes that they did. I decided it ultimately wasn't worth the hassle, but I will certainly NOT be back!

As someone who is claustrophobic and dislikes MRI's, I can tell you that I was dreading my visit. However, that changed as soon as I was called to the back. I have never been treated so kindly and professionally at any medical facility. I highly recommend them to anyone.
