He also reminds me very gently that my weight might be an issue without being rude or making me feel bad. (It's not like I don't know that I'm chubby and lose some weight.) As far as scheduling, it took me 6 months to get an initial consultation. Then the next appointment was another 6 months out. It's not easy to get in here, but worth it. Unfortunately, when scheduling appointments, they don't ask what days or times or good, so a 1pm appointment for me means I have to take an entire day off work. Honestly, because they are specialist (and much needed) I would move heave and earth to make sure I made my appointment. This is a busy place and things may take a while, but over all, it is totally worth it.
