I have been to the Little Clinic many times when I'm not able to get an appointment at my regular doctor's office. I visited for suspected bronchitis, which I tend to get every fall. I was very impressed on this visit by the time and attention of Nurse Practitioner Angelina Fiszlewicz gave me. She spent plenty of time listening to my concerns about my current illness and identifying appropriate medications based on my history. In previous years for the same issue, I've had other healthcare providers turn me away without meds (saying it's a virus - tough it out) or prescribe multiple courses of unnecessary antibiotics. I would highly recommend Ms. Fiszlewicz! However, be aware you should avoid the Kroger pharmacy at all costs! They are clearly understaffed and overworked right now, but they are totally inept. I spent over an hour waiting in lines over 3 separate visits within 24 hours, and still had to go to CVS for 1 of 4 meds! read more

I went here thinking I was having another round of shingles on my left side and was hoping to get some antivirals. I was told it "definitely wasn't shingles" and that they were some sort of bug bites. I went home and by the end of the day the blotches started getting bigger and started spreading. Into the next early morning more blisters had started to emerge as well so I went out to the hospital and sure enough I had shingles again. This time I was diagnosed with disseminated shingles which can affect more than one dermatome. Apparently she had written it off as not shingles because it was not in one localized area. If she had taken a closer look she would have seen some of the patches already had small blisters. I would not recommend this is my second time using The Little Clinic and both times were not pleased with the services. The staff seemed nice I do have to say but don't seem to be that knowledgeable. Maybe they would be better if you had a simple cold or something? read more

The Little Clinic isn't something I'd normally review on Yelp; not sure why, I just don't review most medical related businesses. However, I went to the Little Clinic today and was so impressed by the doctor and the service, I felt compelled to write a review. I showed up and was quoted a 15 minute wait time, but only had to wait 10 minutes. Dr. Wagner-Jenkins was attentive, asked me lots of questions to ensure she knew what was going on, and then diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection. She was extremely personable, and while writing my prescriptions and talking to me she checked a few other nagging ailments that I've had and gave me advice on them. I was out of the room in 15 minutes and on my way. 100% recommend Dr. Wagner-Jenkins! read more

I visited the Middletown, Ohio location yesterday for the first and last time. I went to seek a shot for the poison ivy/oak/sumac rash I had on my right hand, and another small section on my upper right thigh. I specifically asked about the shot as I was registering due to my personal history that I am allergic to this plant and it is painful and itches terribly. I have been applying topical treatment for 5 days which were not working very well. I was told that, while the Nurse/Registrar could not speak as to what type of treatment the Nurse Practitioner would offer, the location did have the capability of administering shots for this condition. During treatment, however, I was told by the Nurse Practitioner that since my rash was "localized only on my hands" that she would offer a TWO WEEK regiment of oral pills only. That they could not administer the shot due this and the fact that their dosage was "low"???????? So my pain and discomfort were of no issue to this person. I could have kept my own regiment of topical application for 2 weeks, but went there for immediate relief and was denied. I guess my care was not as important as the next person they were "saving" these dosages for.....Very upset as I have never been treated with such disdain from a medical professional in my life. read more

Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience at a clinic. Went in because my son had the strept throat. Paid upfront for our visit, talked with the DR. About his symptoms and told her he had came in contact with it so she was willing to write him a prescription for an antibiotic. Then after that test she wanted to give him a flu test, little did I know it was an additional cost, she didn't tell me that until after I was ready to leave. Then during the flu test itself she jammed the stick up his nose so far he screamed. He literally cried for two days after because of the pain. I told her it was a little rough and she said "well I was worried he'd move" just a horrible horrible experience. Very unprofessional. The Dr kept coughing in her hands then didn't wash them until I asked her to just disgusting. read more

Ok so here goes...my daughter and I went in here for swimmers ear, it was late and they were backed up so I was trying to give the receptionist the benefit of the doubt regarding her piss poor attitude, even though she was more worried about taking the trash out than helping us. The nurse practitioner came in and she more than made up for the previous persons abilities. She was amazing, kind, attentive and took good care of my kiddo. The reason for the two stars is for what came after the visit. We picked up the prescription from the pharmacy inside the store and went on our way only to discover that they gave us eye drops in lieu of ear drops, so I gave my daughter Advil to hold her over until morning. I called the clinic at 9:59 am to ask what we should do and the lady told me that some drops can be used for both eyes and ears which does make sense. She looked up the chart and noticed that the practitioner did put in instructions saying drops 3x a day in eyes so something may be wrong. She said let me call over to the pharmacy and I'll call you back in around 15 minutes, would that be ok? Yes that's fine except that It is now 12:22 and nothing. I know that these places get busy and there are other patients that need to be seen for far worse things than an earache but come on. These people were genuinely sweet (except for I just wanna go home lady) and really wanted to help but seemed to be pushed to their limits. I also want to say that I have been to this particular clinic many times and this is the first time I was thoroughly disappointed. I will definitely think twice before going back for sure. read more
