I am always surprised by the online reviews being only 3/5 stars (as of 6/2026). I have been to this Little Clinic several times since moving here in 2017. It is so easy to make an appointment and almost always within 24 hours. Check in is super simple. Staff is thoughtful, kind, and proficient. They have helped me with sinus infections, strep tests, kids' physicals, vaccinations, and more. They are prompt with appointments and still give the attention needed. I appreciate this clinic. It's helped me a lot when I was between PCPs and when my PCP didn't have any appointments available for days. Highly recommend. read more

Needed to get seen last minute as I've had a lingering cold/flu for over a week. This was one of the few places that had same day appointments and it was easy to get in to be seen. The staff was nice and easy to work with. Had to wait about 15 mins past my scheduled time but I got there 30 mins early... so essentially I waited 45 mins but there was just 1 customer ahead of me. Anyway, highly recommend the little clinic if you need to get in quickly without the urgent care price. Thank you!! read more

Terrible experience. It took me more time to do the paperwork than to see Alison. She was very dismissive and insensitive. She didn't listen to me at all. There wasn't anyone in the urgent care so she could've actually taken time to have appropriate bedside manner and patient centered care. They also claimed they called to give me my negative strep results, but did not. I had to go to another urgent care and spend more money, which ended up being better in the long run because my concerns were heard. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I've had some terrible urgent care experiences, but this was by far the worst. Seeking care as a Black woman is already challenging and to be told I'm just going to be uncomfortable because there isn't anything that could be done, when there clearly was is so frustrating. Had a virtual visit with Blair Bisgard NP. I've had many virtual visits via zoom and never a problem. I kept telling her that she keeps cutting in and out. Her solution? To tell me that it's me when even a computer tech wouldn't even be able to tell me that by just looking at the computer... LOL. then proceeds to tell me that she's been sitting in one spot so it's def not her. so, I tell her that I too, have been sitting in one spot. Then what does she say? Well, that I've been cutting in and out since the beginning. At this point, I decide not to tell her that she too has been cutting in and out since the beginning because I know she will find a way to make it my fault instead of choosing to problem solve by calling my phone so that I can hear her audibly -_-. On top of that I called for condoms, which is my right to get for family planning... but nope, no prescription to get covered condoms under insurance... why would i buy condoms when i can get them prescribed?????? but nurse B doesn't know how to do her job, or refuses to. I went to get a TB test at this location. I went to get it read (which takes seconds) and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes with my three year old. I knew there was no patient in with the provider, because I saw them walk out, so I knocked on the door and asked to teas my test. The NP did not say thank you for waiting or apologize for the wait time. She just glanced at my arm, took the paper, signed it and handed it to me. It was a very poor experience. I would not return unless I am in a pinch and have no other options. I would not recommend going here for care. read more

Walk-ins are not welcome. They need to change this. You'll be waiting hours. And when you're super sick like I am, it's miserable. Today the lady just sent me away saying she wouldn't be able to get to any walk-ins. Now that Walgreens closed all their clinics, it's hard to find anywhere to go for a walk-in clinic. read more

I've been here a few times for lingering cold/cough symptoms and have been able to get a walk-in or next day appointment. The doctors have been thorough and kind. No issues with the receptionist as others have mentioned. They have been efficient and polite too. They are my go-to when my primary care doctor's office is booked. read more

The King Sooper's parking lot was full of signs that say "Rapid Antibody Tests, $25." So I walked in to get one. The sign on the clinic says they open at 10:00 am. So I waited until 10:00 and asked them if I could get a test. They said that they only see people by appointment, but maybe the 10:20 person will not show up and they could help me then. So I sat down and waited. They spent the next 20 minutes chatting with each other while I sat there. Why couldn't they just spend 2 minutes to administer the antibody test? Why do they post hours starting at 10:00 and then refuse to see people at 10:00? What is the point of the "Little Clinic" when you can only see them after making an appointment or waiting for hours? You might as well go see your own doctor instead of dealing with this outfit. read more

We found this spot after my toddler and I decided to wake up with pink eye on a Sunday and her normal Pediatrician was closed. Located in side a King Sooper, I was a bit skeptical. The lady at the front desk was really nice. We arrived around 30 minutes after they opened and there was no one ahead of us. She took our insurance information and we were seen immediately by the nurse. She diagnosed what we already knew and sent over our Rx to the pharmacy (10 feet away). I got some grocery shopping done while we waited for our Rx and they even put gas points on my KS card. Very quick service, convenient, and my co-pay after insurance coverage that arrived later in the mail was much much MUCH cheaper than if we would have gone to her regular doc for the same outcome. They even called to follow up to see how we were doing (I wasn't doing that great) and she upped my Rx and sent it to a closer pharmacy to my house. Awesome that it's a walk-in clinic and even open later than 5pm. We'll definitely be coming here for easy diagnosis problems! read more

If I could give this location negative stars I would. I can't even believe the people that work there. I came into this location at 2:30 to schedule an appointment for a strep throat test. The woman up at that front desk said I had to call to schedule an appointment so I stood there making an appointment over the phone for 3:20 pm. Since it was so close to the time of the appointment I decided not to head back home so I wait in the parking lot. Then I went in at 3:15 the woman that would have been taking my test came out and said they were closing early and they needed to cancel my appointment. I tried to explain that I badly need the test because I was working both tonight and tomorrow all day she still wasn't willing to work with me and said to try urgent care. I'm so furious and disgusted by the worker because both times I went in she was sitting on her phone and not doing anything! They also aren't supposed to close till 7:30 on weekdays. read more

Since it was a Saturday and I needed medical help I went ahead and just showed up here. I did have to wait over an hour but I was a drop in. This little operation is actually quite good at what it does. It serves the area and deals in many of the basic medical issues. I was treated fairly and able to get my prescription filled right next to the clinic. Obviously if you have a true emergency get to an emergency room but if you have an urgent situation this place fits the bill. I was feeling punky and needed a quick appointment on a day my doctor was not available. While I was a bit hesitate it turned out this worked out great for me. They used my insurance info and prescribed exactly what I needed for an infection. I would not hesitate the next time if my regular doctor was not available. While I did wait a bit they still were efficient and provided the help I needed. I must admit I never gave them a thought until the situation arose where I had to do something. Self help was not going to cut it and I was getting desperate. Thankfully this little gem of a place was available and did the trick for me. An emergency room trip was not necessary and I was on my way to recovery! If you have no insurance you can pay in cash and at least from what I saw the charges were quite reasonable. It reminds me of an old fashioned family doctors office where your minor ailments were treated. Call me very pleased! read more

I've been waiting an hour and I've got about an hour to go. This is ridiculous. I hate this new option where you can check in online because it tricks you into believing the queue is shorter than it actually is. For instance, I showed up and thought only one person was ahead of me. In reality there were four ahead of me. As of this writing there are still two people in front of me. Yesterday I showed up just before they went on lunch, shame on me for coming back a second day in a row. Now I'm stuck. Waiting after paying when I should have gone to a real doctor. I'm pissed off and trying to prevent others falling into this situation. The little clinic is not worth your time, especially when you're sick and not in the mood for this shit. read more

I went in last week due to having some serious asthma issues. The lady I initially saw seemed flustered due to a staff member not showing up. My appointment felt a little rushed and she didn't really give me much feedback on any changes I could make outside of medicine when I asked. I will refrain from using her name and give her the benefit of the doubt. However! I called back three days later because the medicine the first gal prescribed wasn't working. Sarah not only called me back with help, but she had researched other ways to help me long term (such as literally looking up a cheap option to primary care for me after I inquired about it), she gave me tips on what I could try outside of what she was prescribing me, and gave me encouragement I needed in that moment - when your lungs aren't working properly its pretty terrifying. Sarah was so so kind, and so thoughtful to have go the extra mile to make me feel heard and valued. Also, the prescription she gave me worked WAY better, and my lungs are feeling good (I'm on day two of five and continuing to improve so much I only used my inhaler once today!). Thank you so much Sarah, you gave me hope that my asthma can be managed and the tools to further my knowledge of what my next steps are. You are SO SO appreciated! read more

I took my 91 year old mother in for a Covid test because their website said that testing was free. After we gave them her insurance info, I asked them why they needed that. They said it was for billing purposes, the visit would cost us nothing. She just got a bill for $209!!!!!! This is deceptive and dishonest. I'm waiting for the class action lawsuit. read more

I have been here several times. The physician assistants have been excellent but the receptionists have been totally incompetent. Todays was totally clueless and completely unable to give me any idea how long wait would be. Told me one hour and when i came back it would be another hour because people were now mysteriously in front of me. Usually i can handle that but when you sick it is last thing you need. Last time waited four hours to get mom in. Today was final straw for me. If you are sick I would suggest going somewhere else. read more

Amy at the front desk was helpful and very pleasant. I like that we didn't have to fill out an hour of paper work. Driver's license and insurance card if you have it. The wait was short, less than 15 minutes and Sandy the PAC nurse was nice, knowledgable and got us in and out quickly. The Little Clinic in it self is a great way to see a Nurse Practitioner. Everything is very convenient and easy. The staff was warm, listened to me and made me feel like they cared about me. Have been here a few times when I have known we were dealing with strep. Very efficient. I tell them that both my daughter and I have a history of strep - a few questions, strep test, listen to heart, blood pressure, look st ears and throat. Positive strep results - got prescription right there. In and out in less than 30 minutes. They take our insurance with no copay. Can't beat the convenience when you cNt get into your dr (Sunday) and you know you need an antibiotic (or even if you do t know). I love the convenience. Please make an appt though or you really have to wait. Easily made online. read more

Arrived at 8:15 to sign in a little early for a biometric screening. The clinic opened on time at 8:30 but the receptionist promptly left for 20 minutes to go get coffee so I was left sitting there. When she finally came back she called me to check me in. She curtly told me they wouldn't do a biometric screening without fasting for 12 hours. That information really needs to be put in the service description on the clinic website or somewhere people can see it to remind them before they come in. Left and received no services. read more

I have been sick for about 2 and a half weeks - A week ago I went to a different doctor and was told that I was fine (no infection) I remained so sick and almost went to the emergency room. Today I went to the Clinic on Youngfield Street, in Wheat Ridge, CO and I saw nurse April Barstow, CNP ---- she was so kind and caring and just wonderful --- everything you wish a doctor should be. She confirmed my belief that I had a sinus and gave me an antibiotic which I am so grateful for --- I am 73 years old and about to find a part-time job on Tuesday and it isn't easy to find a job when you are my age. I need very much to feel better and now I will. Nurse April Barstowis the only person I will see in the future except for my annual physical that won't be covered my insurance at the Clinic. Last week I scheduled an appointment for my daughter for a possible ear infection. She was seen by the physician and was diagnosed with an ear infection and prescribed amoxicillin. After finishing prescription my dausghters ear still hurt and was now feeling pain in her jaw. We made another appointment and right before the appointment the position called to do a Covid screening after I had already completed one online. The only other symptom she had was a sore throat for the last couple of weeks. The doctor put me on hold and back with receptionist like a coward and the receptionist side because she has a fever and a runny nose they can't see us. I was floored, I said she had never had a fever or a runny nose and I'm not sure where she got that information from. The receptionist admitted the runny nose was miscommunication but insisted on her having a fever. I'm still not understanding where they assumed she had a fever. I was instructed they could do a telephone call for diagnosing her. Why would I want a coward, lying physician to diagnose my daughter over the phone? This is the same physician who said she had an ear infection in the first place. She still has the same symptoms yet they're pointing to Covid? WE WILL NEVER RETURN! read more

Well, the PA was very thorough and nice and saw me promptly after her lunch. However, the receptionist (Sabrina) was rude, off-putting and did not seem to want to be there. She also ran my card twice stating an error and I now have two charges on my card. I called and informed Amy of this. She took my info and has yet to get back to me and was very dismissive saying "they hold it twice depending on your bank, one is a pre-authorization." Ummm, if that were the case you should inform people because some folks don't have twice a large payment in their accounts. I filed a dispute with my bank because the clinic seems incompetent to handle this. I am highly disappointed in the customer service and until it is rectified, I will never return. read more

I felt compelled to write this review of the little clinic because I have been there twice so far and each time I had a great experience. The woman who works at the front desk checking patients in and taking insurance etc. was very kind and helpful. Even to regular customers who were just shopping by. She went out of her way to help them find the things they needed in the store. She did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and had a great sense of humor too! The Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Branson, sets her self apart from other medical professionals by really taking her time with each patient. I felt very comforted by her and she truly cares about how you are feeling and wants to do whatever she can to help you get better. You may wait for a little while to be seen as a result but you can be sure that when it is your turn you will get the same excellent service and attention to detail. I was surprised by how knowledgeable Ms. Branson was and you can tell that she has a lot of experience in her field. She didn't attempt to just generalize my concerns and throw bunch of drugs at me. she really listened and sought to provide me with the best care possible. In addition she was sensitive to every little detail concerning my daily life and even my work schedule and budget. read more

This is a great place and the physician assistant here is really nice. Also the gal at the desk was super helpful. The process was easy and they saw me quickly, called in my meds to the pharmacy right there and I was off. Several people noted wait times and it is a walk in. But you would pay a ton more at urgent care and no doctor office holds the hours they do here. This place is good and so are the people who work here. read more

Receptionist was very cold and rude. We recently moved here and don't have a Dr for my son yet. I came in to get a chicken pox vaccine for him. The receptionist told me I had to take him to his pediatrician to do that! These are services their website states they provide. We walked out with no vaccine and very irritated. DO NOT GO TO THE LITTLE CLINIC!!! Worst customer service I have seen. I called in advance to see if the DOT certified Doc would be onsite, both times they said Yes. I show up at opening hours and am notified that there is no DOT Doc onsite. The next closest clinic is 45 min away and there is a 3 hour wait. Day is ruined. DO NOT GO TO THE LITTLE CLINIC.
