My wife and I had a terrible experience with this practice. While preparing to give birth we reached out to Denver West to initiate care and get help in building a plan for immediately post birth as there is a chance our son will be born with a blood disorder. The doctor we interacted with was extremely unprofessional, condensing, and completely uninterested in listening to my wife's medical history or perspective on care. She seemed far more interested in having plausible deniability than in actually providing good care for a child. I would describe the call as a barrage of rhetoric rather than a conversation. She explicitly told us she would not participate in constructing a plan for safe care for our son. She refused to call our birth center/midwives, to do so. She audibly made a noise of disgust when we told her that standard procedure of the birth center was to discharge Mom and baby after 4-6 hours. We felt marginalized, and have absolutely 0 faith in the decisions and quality of the practice as a whole. read more

Dr. Gini is my sons pediatrician she is such a breath of fresh air! She spent almost an hour with me at my sons 2 month wellness check getting to know our family, getting to know my son and making sure all questions were answered. She is very positive and encouraging for breastfeeding mothers. I strongly recommend this office! Haley, who is at the front desk is always positive and Cheery. Tish the medical assistant is also wonderful and very professional. I have seen Roberta the PA as well and she is so genuinely loving towards my little guy! Still with them and they are great. They are definitely on top of the new recommendations by the AAP. When we went for the 1 year visit, they gave me a print out about keeping babies rear facing up to 2 years which is a brand new recommendation and the doctor also told me to keep her RF as long as 4 years old if possible. Both of my kids have been patients of Dr. Campbell since they were born. All of the Doctors, PA's nurses and office staff are absolutely wonderful. A couple of years ago our employer changed coverage to Kaiser. We were so incredibly sad to leave Denver West. We have spent the last two years getting very mediocre care at Kaiser. We dropped Kaiser and pay for insurance out of pocket so that our kids can return to this practice. We are so happy that our kids will again be getting high quality care from professionals that genuinely care for kids and families. We will never take our kids anywhere else. read more

I called their office to let them know they used incorrect number and were faxing my home phone, Figured they would stop the error but again, 5 minutes later the fax buzz came through again, of course I couldn't reach them as they had gone to lunch. If they cannot get a fax number correct to send information, what are the chances the medical records may contain an error? read more

Been there 3 times with our newborn. Friendly, fast, service. Still haven't seen the doctor (Hal Stein), as the PAs seem to do all the straightforward consults. We have taken our two daughters in to be seen for every common childhood illness, to the not so common, foreign objects lodged up the nose for example. Each visit different from the next, however the same comforting, quality treatment every time. We can easily schedule our appointments. What always impresses me is the time spent on their patients, all staff members so far, have treated us like family, very genuine, caring and respectful. All of the doctors and PAs take the time you need and are fantastic at explaining exactly what is happening. We have been a customer for almost three years and I've had enough... They're rude in the front and the facility has dropped the ball on many things. For example: they're not sure what vaccinations my children have had. And now we have a serious case and they've given the wrong information for it. Long story short, we switched doctors. Our current doctor has been trying to get medical information for them and they are just too busy to fax over records. Yuck... It's been happening for three years, don't go! read more

The receptionists are angry, unfriendly, unhappy and unprofessional. I think the doctors are good, but the hassle of scheduling appointments, and dealing with these women isn't worth it. If your child is sick, they will tell you to go to the Emergency room because they don't have time to see your child. After waiting 3 hours for the nurse to return my call, I called the office. The reception (I believe her name was Reed), told me the nurse was not calling me back, so to quit calling there. She said to take my kid to the Emergency room., and hung up. I shared my story with the ER doctor. He couldn't believe the way this doctor's office treats their patients. He said that the ERs are abused, because doctors don't want to take the time to treat their patients when they're sick. He said my child only needed a prescription. Instead, we spent 3 hours waiting in the ER, for a 5 minute exam, that cost a fortune. Every time you call to schedule an appointment, they say that the doctors are booked out for 6 to 8 MONTHS. However, your child can see a PA, but that takes 2 to 3 months. If you have more than one child, don't EVER plan on getting them all scheduled the same day. Each time you schedule an appointment, your children get a different PA, that knows absolutely nothing about your children's history. This doctors office needs a MAJOR overall. First, starting with the receptionists, then they need to develop a caring environment that provides good , consistent care! Don't waste your time with Denver West Pediatrics. This place is a nightmare. Find a pediatrician's office with caring staff, that cares about children and parents, and will be reliable!! Our children deserve it!! read more
