New place in the lobby of the Holiday Inn (the clue's in the name, which I didn't realise ). Whilst it wasn't busy when we were there (Tuesday lunchtime) I could see it being a little irritating when busy, having people walking through your space. But again, to be expected.
The service was great - very friendly and prompt. Prices are reasonable - 3 street food menu dishes for £14, with a reasonable and varied enough selection of options. Portion sizes are substantial, so don't over order like we did!
The food quality itself was very good. The 'posh pot noodle' was simple yet effective and very tasty, with loads of prawns and veg. The chip butty was as you'd expect but double decked! The chips with gooey blue cheese and bacon was superb and the monkfish nuggets were exceptional.
Overall a very nice, relaxed place to have an easy lunch or dinner. Not fine dining by any means but definitely a good addition to the Birmingham foodscape! read more
