It's been a while since I've visited a Michaels; this one in the Flint's Crossing shopping center with Earth Fare is pretty new and is tidy and shiny. I was browsing the yarn aisles and din't come across what I was searching for, but I ended up buying something else in the jewelrymaking section that I actually needed and had forgotten I'd needed. Michaels is that kind of store. The yarn area had plenty of choices, and brands included Lion Brand, Red Heart, Caron, and Patons. There was an impressive selection of plastic, metal, and bamboo knitting needles too. Seasonal stuff was located near the entrance. The cashier said that in addition to Halloween goods, they'd even gotten some Christmas items already. Yikes. I felt like a total amateur since I completely forgot to use one of those famous 40% off coupons. Kids, don't be like me--be sure to snag a coupon from the Michaels website.

There was a rough patch during the pandemic, when they were down to almost no staff, and got overwhelmed with orders, but as always they took the time to explain this to me, and help me understand what the issues were. I don't know if any business that wasn't affected by covid in similar ways. I love the work they do for my company and for my kids clothing and backpacks. All American has a customer for life here!

Gave them a call with what I was looking for, they had elastic material and had it sewn together before we got there. Parking lot was packed on Saturday from what was a sewing class. The lady that answered the phone, sowed the belt together and helped us when we arrived was over the top helpful. Thank you so much!
