My husband locked our truck keys in his golf bag in a very secure tool box in the back of our truck at an rv resort. We discovered it on our way out to dinner after 6pm. I left a vm for the Lockout Guys. As soon as he finished the job he was on, I received a text with the cost to be approved. Very efficient! Lockout out and want to stay that way? Why call these guys! Seriously, called, talked to them, gave all info, then - no show! Was able to get in on my own, called again for repair work to make sure doesn't happen again, made appointment, and guess what? No show again! If your a locksmith and can't figure out why showing up to unlock a door in the dead of winter is kind of important, maybe you're in the wrong business. If I could give zero stars, I would. I needed two fob keys made for my vehicle. I spoke to Paul back in September 2021. He told me to buy the replacement fobs on Amazon (which I did for @ $30) and when I get they key fobs in to give him a call back to schedule a time to meet him. I got the blank key fobs in and called, got his voicemail and I left a message. A few weeks go by and no return call. I call again and leave another message. Again nothing. Every month or so I'd call and leave a message. Still nothing. I have never received a call back and it's now May 2023! Crazy. Giving Paul the benefit of the doubt, I've thought that perhaps something happened to him or a loved one...If so, change your voicemail to something like: "At this time I am unable to take on any new business." I am an understanding and reasonable person but being a previous business owner myself, I would never conduct my business that way. I've been more than patient and should have moved on a year ago...Do yourself a favor and save the frustration and go elsewhere NOW. Paul is a great guy. On Saturday, July 13th, we called him from Valley of the Rouge State Park and told him that we had just broken the key off in our Cruise America motor home door, and, that we would be heading north on I-5 to McMinnville. He said, "I'll meet you my shop in an hour." We took a little longer than usual - since we're not used to driving motor home speeds. When we arrived - Paul was waiting and immediately made a new key and fished out the old key stub. The office, key shop, and restroom were immaculate. Wanted spare keys for my house, ATV and Denali. The blanks were all in stock, they made them quickly and prices were very reasonable. They had no trouble programming the key to the car. If you need a key for your ATV or car I would check with these guys first. Only had one key with a fob attached to my 2010 Ford Fusion and went to start the car but the key portion had fallen off. Went to the Ford dealership and after 3 1/2 hours they still could not get the key code. I called AAA and the set up service with The Lockout Guy's. Paul was able to make a key and it was about $200 less than what the dealer would have charged me. read more

I locked my keys in my trunk and don't have a spare! It's an '08 BMW that has the high security cut key with a chip which make unlocking the car much more difficult. I called a different locksmith in town and they told me to call a certain towing company. I did just that and the tow guy came right away. He used the bag to pump open the door. He tried getting the car to unlock but was unsuccessful. He even called two different people for help and tried again but to no avail. He then told me that my car was in lockout mode and the only option was to tow it to the dealer in Eugene (He just happens to have a tow truck, how convenient!) I declined. Side note: The metal rod he used put about 5 chips around the window. I then called up the Lockout Guys and guess who it was that the tow guy had just called for help... Them! They said they couldn't guarantee that the car wasn't in lockout mode due to the many failed attempts by the tow company but they could come attempt opening it up. He came out, used the same exact bag and rod technique but with a few key differences. He put a small protective mat between the bag and the paint as to not chip my car. He also used a rod that had a soft plastic coating over the whole thing for even more protection. Then the most important thing... He new what he was doing! He opened it in less than a minute. I wish the tow company and the other locksmith would have just pointed me to The Lockout Guys in the first place. If you don't know how to open the more advanced locks then pass it on to the professionals that do. read more

Paul and Sabrina are wonderful at what they do!! My key broke off in my fiance's pride and joy (his mustang). Paul was able to get the broken piece out and they made me keys from the pieces. I recommend them to everyone that needs keys. They can even make door lock clickers for your car even if it didn't come with one!! Lock out recommended them to me after wasting weeks of my time to say they didn't want to take on a replace ignition switch. Took Mobile Tune an hour. Not weeks of bull shit to be told go elsewhere. Paul and Sabrina are great people. They've just moved to a bigger location so congrats on an expanding business! I manage some rentals so i'm always getting locks and keys and stuff. Their keys always work, whenever I used to get keys at Lowes or Home Depot they would never work in the deadbolt locks. Never have that problem with LockOut Guys. Paul spent a lot of time once "back engineering" and rekeying a lock to fit my ancient "master system" and then he only charged me just a couple bucks extra, excellent customer service! They have expanded into security systems and video security and are definately the "go to guys". If I think they are so great why didn't I give them 5 stars? Please, what can a locksmith possible do to earn 5 stars? Serve pizza, make sushi? Come to think of it the last time I was in there they did serve cookies!
