Our view from our front door.

We stayed 3 nights. We found both staff helpful and friendly. Based on earlier reviews we read, we were concerned about cleanliness of the room but we found it was satisfactory. On the downside, the room was pricey at $300 a night.

I would usually gate keep a gem like this, but you've made it this far so I'll let you in on the secret. DON'T BELIEVE THE ONE STAR REVIEWS! We almost didn't come because of Yelp, but glad we didn't let the negative reviews sway us. Charlie and Jose are THE BEST. Happy to help and always with a smile. Not sure what the other reviews are complaining about. (It was amazing enough for me to come back and leave a review.) The waterfront room we got was fine - clean sheets and doable . It's a lodge in nature, not the Four Seasons people. There will be bugs! We did discover the suite at the end of our stay and OMG. We are booking it next time (because we're making this place one of our regular staycation spots)! But the property is what we loved most. Yes, there are boats, paddle boards & kayaks you can rent. But there's also fishing off the dock, a water trampoline, private "beach" w/ sand & swimming/floating access, huge grass lawn overlooking the water where you can lay out (if you're not a sand person) & picnic, and bbqing on the deck with lots of tables to dine at. We have 3 kids (8, 6 and 10 mos) and came up with family, also with a bunch of kids. Everyone had a good time! Yelp is tough because there are a lot of keyboard warriors out there. Don't let other people make you miss out on amazing experiences like we almost did.

The Lodge at Blue Lakes was an amazing stay. The staff (Charlie, Ryan, and Jose) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Lodge is right off the road however, the lake was extremely clear, clean, peaceful, and calm. This was an excellent stay where you can stand up board, rent a boat, and play in the sand. We did it all! There was a point when an amenity went down however, Charlie was more than happy to find a way to make it right without skipping a beat. This level of customer service made our stay even better. Totally recommend this lodge especially, if you are looking for a weekend trip or to break up a long drive... and we will be coming back very soon!

Rooms were filthy and when brought to management's attention I was accused of calling the health department and shooed away. It is a motel at best there is a empty pool the place is kinda a dump would stay away at all cost

We had the most incredible time at The Lodge at Blue Lakes. From the moment we arrived, Charlie, the host, ensured our experience was nothing short of exceptional. His hospitality and conversations added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. We stayed two nights and both evenings, used the barbecue grills to cook delicious dinners. Our favorite part was dining in the gazebo next to the grill, overlooking the lake and taking in the scenery. Also, the lodge hired a DJ who mixed great music into the afternoon right on the patio! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and had back door access to the patio and lawn chairs. You are really lakefront - it was the perfect nature retreat to unwind and appreciate the tranquility of our surroundings. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately the room was extremely dirty, smelt terribly of chemicals and the tv didn't work. The water was not working, so no shower or toilet and the manager said "well we are in the same boat, I can't brush my teeth either". Very dismissive and we are not in the same boat, I paid $350 a night for running water. Very rude and disrespectful manager. Hopefully they can improve their customer service asap!

Family time was wonderful and the staff was awesome too! Access to the water was okay as I'm an amputee.

Rooms were clean with fresh bedding & towels, plenty of parking, beds were comfortable & the place was quiet. There is a good restaurant across the highway & on Main Street in Upper Lake. Pizza parlor about a block away. The place has gone downhill & I would not stay there again & would not recommend to anyone who cares about a stinky room. I went to the store & bought a can of Febreze, sprayed half of it in my room & still it smelled bad. Turned on the fan & left it on all night to bring in fresh air from outside. It is the cheapest place in the area but there are better places nearby. You get what you pay for.

There was a red substance leading from the bathroom to the sink. It was bright red still letting me know it was new. I stepped in it when I wasn't looking and it was sticky. There is dust along the back of the headboard and old dog food behind the side table. If you are going to charge a pet fee, clean after the pet otherwise what am I paying for? There was a hair hanging from the blow-dryer and a hair in the shower towards the back of the tub. Just gross. I would have had my boyfriend go ask for a new room but im not optimistic any of the other rooms would be better. On the good notes, there is a TV, fridge, and microwave in the room. There is also a nice grassy area in the back where you can take pets potty. I don't mind staying at cheap hotels/motels but this is the first time where I legitimately just would have rather not stopped.

My wife and I made reservations through Expedia with Traveler's Inn for Tue, Jul 28 to Wed, Jul 29, (Itinerary # 73463144264880). We were planning to stay there on our way to Santa Barbara, CA where I was to perform some music at a friend's wedding, but then I just received the bad news that I will be needing to start radiation therapy for prostate cancer in July. The treatment involves 8 weeks of radiation sessions, 5 days per week, and must be uninterrupted. At a time when anxiety and stress are elevated I have to deal with spending $93.00 for a hotel stay that I can't use! Cancelling seven weeks in advance didn't seem matter to Traveler's Inn! How horrible is it that a business can be so cold and uninterested in an individual's specific circumstances, and does not offer a refund. I could understand it, and it would be justifiable, if the cancellation came within 1 week of the reserved date, because it might be difficult to fill that room in such a short time. But 7 weeks in advance!?!?!? I am so shocked by such a policy. I'm sorry to vent so much anger and frustration like this, but I am overwhelmed by the user-unfriendliness of this policy.

The town of Williams may be small, but it has several solid restaurant options along with fast food and pizza spots--and even DoorDash delivers right to the hotel, which is a nice bonus after a long day of driving. The hotel itself has been fully renovated, and it really shows. You can tell the ownership genuinely cares about both the property and their guests. Everything feels clean, updated, and well maintained. Amenities are excellent for a stopover or short stay. There's a swimming pool, a grill for cooking, and even a small gym. Parking is plentiful, and most of the time you can park right outside your room, which is great if you're traveling with a car full of belongings or just want peace of mind. In the morning, they offer a basic continental breakfast with hard-boiled eggs, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, muffins, danishes, and yogurt. There's no indoor dining area, but you can easily take it back to your room or enjoy it by the pool. The rooms are well stocked with soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and a shower cap, and I really appreciated the extra space heater in addition to the standard AC/heater wall unit--such a thoughtful touch. The internet is free and good signal. Pro tip: Book directly through the hotel's website. It's cheaper than Booking.com or Hotels.com (I saved $8), and the price difference more than makes up for any points you might earn elsewhere. It's also cheaper than walking in to book, and they do fill up quickly--when we checked in, only a couple of rooms were left. I've been very happy with both of my stays and will absolutely continue stopping here on future trips. Highly recommended!
