I don't normally do reviews but I felt obliged to do one on this occasion to make sure that others are aware of the risks they take going here.
I'd read good reviews about Beth and the team; which is why I felt comfortable that I would receive a good service.
First of all this place is impossible to find as a sign is posted on the entrance door saying to use a completely different entrance which is incorrect and left me searching for 15 mins; which wasn't helped by nobody answering my phone calls for help.
I tried to book Beth but was allocated Irine for a £90 - 1.5 hour lash treatment.
I found Irine to be very unwelcoming and cold, to the point that I'm not sure a customer facing career is right for her. I explained to her that I wanted the Cat Lash look. She handed me some photos and I picked the one I wanted (example shown in this review).
The treatment started on my right eye and I felt that she was very rough and was getting glue in my eye as it was streaming. She said this wasn't the case, so I foolishly allowed her to carry on.
She moved on to the left and again I felt a bit of glue getting in my eye. I stopped her and was more forceful this time and she took extra care as this eye stopped streaming.
She then claimed that she could only do an hour on this occasion as my eyes were watering too much (that would be because of the glue she was getting in them).
I was utterly disappointed when I saw the state of my eyelashes as they didn't resemble the photo we had agreed on and it was clear that a very unprofessional job had been done.
I told her that the lashes weren't right, that I didn't like them, that there was glue on them and white glue floating around in my right eye and in addition that the lashes were glued on at differing distances from the base of the eye lash.
She attempted to fix them, but it was impossible and they looked the exact same. I was so upset that I just wanted to get out of that place.
I told her that I'm not happy and I'm not prepared to pay the full price for this. She told me there was no charge.
I couldn't accept this as I believe you have to pay for someone's time, so I paid £40 out of the £70 charge. She told me that she would throw the money at me.
I left looking a state, with my right eye streaming and it was only when I got home that I could really appreciate just how poor of a job had been done.
I've attached photos as I think they are self explanatory.... a very poor job that looks like the lashes have been thrown on not placed.... and no, the white bits all over the lashes isn't sleep in my eyes.... it's glue!
Good luck to anyone willing to risk going here.... my advice is to look elsewhere. read more
