We did not move forward with Events at Stone Park due solely to the behavior and response times of their Event Coordinator. I wish I had seen a review like this one before I got my hopes up. The space, the food, and the budget all worked for us. The only reason this is not 1 star is because it wouldn't be fair since we did not end up holding our event here. If you'd like to know all the in and out details here we go: I feel I gave the coordinator Barbara a lot of grace - this is an insane time for the restaurant and event industry and people in general - but ultimately I couldn't continue pursuing an event with her in charge. I reached out via email - no response for 10 days I followed up - she responded I reached out again - she didn't respond for 7 days I followed up again- she responded, apologized, gave me info, and said she'd get in touch with me again shortly with her availability for a meeting 2 weeks pass I follow up again - she responded with no acknowledgement of the time gap We schedule an in person walk through - she emailed saying she'd be a few minutes late. After 15 minutes I emailed her back letting her know we were waiting in front of the event space. After 30 minutes of waiting we knocked on the door of the restaurant space and there she was inside. No apology. It was baffling why she didn't look for us at the event space - we realized then that we had seen her walk by 15 minutes before, laptop in hand. Because it bears repeating I'll repeat - she never apologized. She only hurriedly said she left her phone in an uber and then rushed us through the meeting. It was obvious that she was not taking us seriously. She was patronizing. She seemed amused that I had brought a list of questions on my phone to ask. The only positive to give is that she knew something about the space. I came to the appointment happy to give it a chance (even if she was running a few minutes late), and I left angry and insulted. 3 days later she reaches out, apologizes lightly for being late, and asks if we have questions. 5 days later I email her for a sample contract as she had mentioned in our meeting. I've never heard from her since. We are now working with a different local place.

The staff was so easy to work with and were beyond accommodating when it came to customizing our event menu; not to mention went above and beyond to create special dishes for our guests with strict dietary restrictions. The staff was very professional yet made everyone feel at home. The drinks were good. The food was partly provided by the party host and served by the venue. There were two nice clean (slightly small) bathrooms with a shared sink. It's July so the weather outside was hot. Inside, there was plenty of air conditioning in the back room (by the dance floor) with less up front. Unlike large event spaces in Manhattan, this one had a more cozy intimate atmosphere. The location is accessible by subway and car. Alternate side street parking is available, depending on when you go - it can be a little difficult finding a free parking spot.

As a venue, it's classy and chic. From the perspective of an event planner, it's several months of work. Furniture needs to be brought in, electricians, and coat closet workers. The beauty is both in the simplicity of the space, and the amount of imagination (and $$$) to execute a really fantastic event or show here.

The gathering was fabulous, a cocktail party with a runway show that included special guest and great supporter Kimora Lee Simmons. The venue is a wide, clean space with high ceiling. A space that can be transformed for whatever event you are planning to have. The facility even has a kitchen for any catering or on-site entertaining needs. I was blown away with the setup JustFab had. A beautiful back drop, a runway with stage, white sofas on each side for VIP guest, three (3) bars, photo booths, a step and repeat, so much going on but the best part was the all white linen fitting rooms to try on our FREE new jeans... That's right, they gave us all free jeans from their new collection to take home. Fabulous event in fabulous venue, makes for a justfab time ;) Look into this space for your next event.

We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday party here, and it was an absolute hit! It was such a relief to trust them with the decor and know it would turn out amazing. All we had to bring were the food, cake, and party favors (though they also offer packages that include those, which is a great option). The two party assistants were fantastic with the kids and kept them engaged with fun activities--painting was definitely the crowd favorite! The facility itself is spotless, with plenty of fun, engaging activities that are just the right size for little ones. It's not too big or overwhelming, which I really appreciate. My daughter also loves visiting Mima Create & Play for open play sessions, and the only downside is convincing her to leave when it's time to go. They saw a street fair and big building with no markings on it that looked like a factory. We understood that we'd have to do everything, and thanks to her wonderful friends it ended up looking fantastic and was a great party. But the Loft really did nothing except take her money and open one door to get into the room. They literally couldn't have done less.
