The space is two floors a large dance floor and multiple rooms to set up your party, 2 bathrooms, and a VIP riser. This past weekend we did a surprise birthday, complete with open photobooth. Two weeks prior we had done a huge Halloween party (150+) people---the venue set up space for a fortune teller, face painter, large buffet, glow-in-the dark t-shirt section all at request of the client. Their solution was to use several small space heaters throughout which didn't do anything to warm up the rooms and only managed to continuously trip the circuits and shut out the lights. Also, do not use their in house catering. I wish I knew the name of the caterer they used because they would deserve a review of their own. The penne vodka was so spiciy you could not eat it. Normally the pasta would be one of the first things to go so you know it was really bad - it was barely touched. How do you screw up the pasta? Thankfully I had ordered a couple of extra trays of food because there would not have been enough food otherwise. Not sure how they calculate their food portions or maybe Mike just needs to review my food order with the caterer to see what was ordered vs what was delivered. Because definitely something is off. No complaints about the staff. They just couldn't overcompensate for the bad experience.

From our first inquiry, communication was consistently quick and professional and the price was more than fair for the services offered. We were particularly impressed by Caio, and his approach during our initial tour. He recognized that our daughter was shy about being the center of attention and suggested thoughtful ways to structure the ceremony and party to put her at ease. We truly appreciated how he included her in the conversation as an active participant in the planning process; it made a significant difference, and she left the tour feeling excited for her Bat Mitzvah for the first time. The day of the event was seamless. Our guests were greeted warmly by security and door staff, and every employee we encountered was polite and hardworking. The food was excellent and received numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. We also appreciated the flow of the event, specifically having the kids served first so they could enjoy the dance floor while the adults had drinks and hors d'oeuvres upstairs. From the very first moment we toured the space in spring 2024, we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning -- modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming. Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC -- packages range from $12K-$18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional $3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos. What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed. Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal -- calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month -- it was such a thoughtful and fun touch. All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around $35K -- about $20K to the venue and $15K for extras -- which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received. Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests. The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.

The company i work for hosted a full day conference here for under 100 attendees and the process could not have been easier with staff. Jaimie was great to work with and helped us to plan and prepare for our conference, ensuring we had everything from food needs to AV needs...etc. She was on location all day to make sure our event went smoothly as well. Their AV and IT staff are incredible as well. Part of that is due to the high tech AV equipment they have to ensure smooth transitions across all displays and the 4 dedicated tech professionals they had on our event day to help ease our worries. The tech guys sat through our dress rehearsals and got themselves familiar with our presentations. They even had extra laptops and tablets prepared should anything go wrong on our end. They also helped mic up our speakers in between panels that we had. I think what really stood out were the tiny details that the Apella team made sure to address as well; they matched the colors on the LED strips around the location to match our company's colors; staff made sure that guests with specific dietary needs were given their special plates immediately as food was served. Almost forgot to mention the gorgeous views. The venue itself is very modern looking with large ceiling to floor windows allowing for plenty of sunlight to come in. It made for great pictures during our reception. Definitely a one of a kind space. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue.
