We looked up the part on Napa website and it was $50. Don't trust this store they will try to take you for a ride. By the way they were rude and condescending. Sad for a small town where everyone should help each other.

Buying accessories for my next costume for my next Halloween party is not what they have in mind. I mentioned to them that I was told at my last car service appointment that I would need a new battery once the colder months came so they wanted a new battery to be one of my gifts. No problem from me! They went into town with the old battery and bought a new one. The new one did not fit into my car properly. I took it just as an inconvenience but was not too terribly annoyed about it. We just have to jump through the hoops to get to the successful endpoint. My father though was angry and was ranting that they should bring out the correct battery to the ranch, install it, take the wronged battery all for free. He remarked that Saratoga Auto Parts made ANOTHER mistake. I can't comment one way or the other if they make copious amounts of mistakes or not. I am more or less disconnected from the businesses of Saratoga since I don't live there. My father often times takes things out of proportion and exaggerates. After a couple of days we went back with my VIN number and got the correct battery. They had the correct battery in stock and my brother was kind of enough to install it for me. I am just grateful that the battery I needed was in stock and that the exchange was hassle free and friendly. Annie Proulx, the author of Brokeback Mountain and Shipping News has a fondness for Wyoming and many of her books and short stories are set in my home state. In the last decade or so she bought a house in Saratoga. Proulx has a reputation for being antisocial and unlikeable yet she makes great stories. Filmmakers Jean Luc-Godard and Lars Von Trier also have similar reputations as being asses but make fantastic films. Annie Proulx later grew frustrated with the community and wrote the memoir Bird Cloud in 2011. This memoir is based on her frustration with the community from what I am told and what she called 'incompetence' when people came from Saratoga to work on her house. Proulx's unlikeability rubbed off on the town and some people were downright angry with her with her Bird Cloud memoir. I remember similar frustrations when I lived there and wondered why I did not work into a rage like my father or be sarcastic and frustrated like Proulx. It is the disconnection in place I suppose. Any mistake or frustration that happens to me in Fort Collins though quickly strikes my temper and makes me as much as a raving lunatic as my father can be and some of the unlikeability of Proulx. It is a town I greatly dislike and I am eager to make a disconnection from it.

I love turquoise jewelry and this was the place to find so many great vintage rings, bracelets and necklaces. I left with 2 turquoise rings, one made by Ray himself and one vintage Boulder Turquoise ring from the '60's (see photos). His selection of REAL authentic (not dyed howlite) turquoise is remarkable. He's an expert on turquoise and a rad dude to boot! He has amazing vintage cowboy boots there too!! Ray hand-picks everything in the store himself, he grew up at vintage auctions and has a keen eye for amazing items. Everything in the store is awesome, vintage cowboy shirts, vintage clothing, vintage housewares and decorative items, at all price points. There's something for everyone in this store. Plus Ray rules and you'll have a great conversation with him while shopping his beautiful store. It's a must stop for anyone driving thru Saratoga. Enjoy!
