There is a parking lot right near so you don't have to walk far. It's connected to a restaurant/bar but completely separate. We had access to the main areas and the outside view and everything was beautifully decorated and the place was clean. It was pretty roomy for the size party there (about 150ish). Food was pretty good that was served by the venue. Especially those beignets. Yum. The views outside with the sunset was perfect as well. You also won't get a weak drink from the bartenders here. Would love to attend another event here.

From how beautiful it was, to the uniqueness, to the location, to the service, everything was amazing. The Chicory is in the middle of New Orleans, and you can't beat that energy and level of fun. It's a historic building with a lot to do in the area, and plenty of hotel options nearby if you're coming from out of town. When we got into the venue, I was immediately blown away by the beautiful exposed brick and the overall look of everything. It was also a nice change from the typical hotel ballroom. The staff were so nice and so attentive! We had two bridal attendants with us the whole time. They were so friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really love their job. They went over the top to make sure the bride had everything she needed and didn't have to worry about a thing-down to checking her water bottle constantly to make sure she always had fresh water. During the reception, we left for a few minutes to take pictures on the rooftop at sunset, which turned out beautiful. Overall, the Chicory was a beautiful experience and the perfect spot for one my best friend's big day. Thank you for everything!

We booked Marché about six months in advance after visiting multiple venues, and it quickly stood out. The planning process can be tedious and tricky, but their Special Events Operations Manager, Wallace, was truly exceptional. He is the primary reason we chose Marché and, ultimately, the reason our wedding day was such a success. Why we chose Marché: * Excellent French Quarter location * Beautiful views from multiple balconies * Great layout for ceremony, dining, and dancing * Incredible, authentic New Orleans food * Excellent value for the price * Wallace's professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond What impressed us most after the wedding: * The tasting was extremely helpful in finalizing food and drink selections * We were able to customize ceremony and dining layouts to fit our vision * Time allotted for both ceremony and reception was more than adequate * Food was outstanding and widely praised by guests * Bartenders made great drinks and happily accommodated requests * Wine, liquor, and beer selections were very good * The "flip" from ceremony to dance space was executed flawlessly--fast, organized, and exactly as planned Guest feedback: * The staff welcomed our guests with enthusiasm and excitement. However, this did not impact the success of our wedding and should not discourage anyone from choosing Marché. Overall, Creole Cuisine Company and its employees are consistently professional and hospitable at all levels of leadership and staff. Planning tip: Carefully review the food and beverage brochure and ask detailed pricing questions. We created a spreadsheet to track costs and maximize value. Be sure to ask about reduced pricing for minors and vendors. Final note: Wallace is a true gem--kind, positive, respectful, and incredibly attentive. Because of his leadership, the entire team operates at the highest level. Not a single guest needed anything all night, and the bride and groom were truly taken care of. There was nothing left to guessing. She carefully planned out seat assignments, food arrangements, signature cocktails, photo station, music and dance floor. The yoga instructor is calming; it makes for a peaceful begining. The goats are so adorable and there were babies in the spring, not more than maybe 8 lbs or so. I think this is one of the best experiences anyone can do. They have you set up outside, on your yoga mats (don't forget to bring a mat - they supply thin ones in case you forget). and there is a small fence around your yoga group so the goats cant get out. The group is maybe 10 or 12 people. If it rains, they have a tent set up so the yoga goes on, rain or shine. And you just a nice, hour long relaxing time in this beautifully, tranquil garden. After you finish the best yoga in the city, they offer vegan empanadas as a nice snack and a baseball hat with the Paradigm Gardens logo on it. You can bring your own water and they have nice clean bathrooms as well. They are doing everything right! Everyone should experience the joy of goat yoga!

Everything was made fresh right in front of us, and it was absolutely delicious easily rivaling some of the best local restaurants. I've been wanting to visit Paradigm Gardens for their concert nights, and after experiencing this event, it's definitely going on my calendar!

Match Day is when the fourth year medical students learn where that have matched for residency including those who matched via the SOAP (Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program). It occurs on a Friday at the end of Match Week. At 11 AM CT/Noon ET, all students nationally receive an envelope and a text/email that lets them know what residency they have been offered and where. Is it dermatology? Orthopedics? Pediatrics? Psychiatry? Family med? Lots of tears of joy for the student that we went to support who matched at a top tier program after a lot of hard work. Congratulations!!! As far as the venue, we walked here from our hotel on Canal. The space was very organized with plenty of tables, cold drinks and trays filled with appetizers and desserts. Convenient bathrooms. Loved the celebratory Second Line which are a fixture at Tulane milestone events. Oh and the name? Club XLIV pays tribute to when the Saints won Super Bowl XLIV. Who dat? Who dat?

We adored it for its architectural detail, the fabulous dance floor, the great set up and the super sweet staff. They even have an attended elevator! It's a little bit hidden but the perfect distance from the Church of the Immaculate Conception for a Second Line band. We marched on over with kerchiefs waving and the band playing. They have a little salon downstairs for the wedding party to relax in until it's time for them to enter the reception and then once the event was in full swing, they used it for gifts and general detritus. A great venue for a relatively small wedding... if you can get a hold of them :)
