Gate 1 refers you to their partner Arch Insurance and both Gate 1 and Arch Insurance reps agreed the additional trip insurance matched our needs. However, when we unfortunately had to cancel our trip and Gate 1 provided the refund they were committed to, Arch Insurance did not. After an extremely elongated claims process (taking over two months) and promises the claim would be honored, as communicated when the policy was purchased, Arch Insurance employed a standard insurance company stance of denying a legitimate claim in hopes the policy holder would simply give up. We have chosen to warn other consumers to avoid using Arch Insurance as they do not honor their policies or their word.
