I was never a believer in "psychics" or "mediums" until my life had trauma and a friend recommended me to Darlyne. First let me just describe your initial experience upon entering her business. You walk into her office and are usually greeted by a receptionist in a comfy atmosphere. Eclectic decorations adorn the walls and a witch is hanging down on a swing, think nothing of it. Darlyne is a unique reader, eccentric and down to earth. When you speak to her, you feel as if you've known her your whole life. She doesn't keep "files" of you, she's in her early 70s and been practicing her craft for over 45 years. One perk to seeing Darlyne compared to other practitioners in her profession is that she allows clients to record the entire reading. If she was a psychic that wasn't legitimate and weary of her own abilities I don't think she would allow this. But due to her decades of experience, laundry list of clientele and repeat customers of over 20+ years, I think that speaks for itself. Not to mention the wait time to book an appointment varies - at some point people have to wait 6-months just to see her out of sheer popularity, but other times people cancel for whatever reason and a slot opens up and they get filled immediately. So - that reason, along with the fact that Darlyne doesn't need to advertise due to her loyal following, are reasons enough to take the first step in wanting a psychic reading. This is a review so you're going to hear my positives and not so positive points. One thing people complain about is that you'll have to wait for the person's reading to get over with.... but Darlyne typically runs late. Sometimes a half hour, sometimes by an hour. BUT FOR GOOD REASON. She isn't someone who rushes people out and she doesn't look at her clients as a cash transaction. She looks at her clients as valued human beings, as individuals- therefore she doesn't rush her clients out the door. However, if you're someone who values legitimate truth and honesty, you'll be glad you waited. Once she gets started, Darlyne will ask what your sign is (i.e. Virgo) and ask you to pull X-amount of cards. Sometimes 15, sometimes 21 it depends on the spread(s) she uses. Again, you are allowed to record the entire thing so you can reflect after the reading specific pieces she tells you. I don't want to spoil anything but there are specific topics she is 100% right on and it freaks me out sometimes lol When it comes to medical - albeit your own family members, friends or yourself, Darlyne is correct. Ask the receptionist, there's stories of people she has warned them about with medical malpractice and people have lived 5+ years longer, predicted cancers etc. But for me personally, she has predicted things that I would never have thought of and then it happens. When it comes to relationships and family, she is always spot on but time frames are never 100% accurate, because life is fluid. Whether you choose to see her is up to you. Some people are weary on seeing someone who asserts they can "predict" the future, a lot of that isn't really what Darlyne is about. She can talk to you about auras, angels, and even loved ones who have recently past sometimes show up DURING your reading. I say this only because close friends of mine who passed have come through and I only know for sure because only certain information I know about them came out from the reading and it does give you chills down your arm, but a comfort at the same time. Would I recommend going to see Darlyne Absolutely. Is she on time every day? Nope. Does she give people information they WANT to hear? Nope, she gives people information that she sees and is the truth. If there is information you really don't want to know - or if you perceive is truly bad, she won't tell you out of respect of your wishes. But if you're truly wanting answers or even just a fun experience to treat yourself, she is the psychic to go to. Her readings have changed my life. I went from feeling hopeless to hopeful, and no matter what happens during your reading, you always walk out of there feeling better about something. I don't know that it's totally fair to give someone a rating based on a reading you never had ... there may have been a very good reason for her not being there. Other people have life emergencies and mess-ups too, you know. I think that review should be taken down until the person actually gets a reading. I had two readings from her back in 1995 and in 1999 and everything was spot on. The only thing that didn't occur (or hasn't yet) is the having three children thing. I went in 2016 and had a great session. Everything has fallen into place. She said I would get a new job for a substantial amount more money that was entry level and in 2017 I did get a job that was as described. In 2020 I met the person she described to a T. A police officer or state trooper who was going through a divorce and rode a motorcycle, he went to be a state trooper and decided to work in his home town as a police officer. She told me not to move in with my then current boyfriend, but of course I did, that ended in disaster. Waiting for other things to develop that she told me. After doing plenty of online research, I was ready to give Darlyne a try. I booked my appointment in November for 10:30am today, and was really looking forward to it. Given how in demand Darlyne seems to be, I rushed to her office to be on time...and then sat in her waiting area until 10:45. She never showed up! The person at the desk said she tried to reach her by phone, but was getting no response. I had to leave at 11 to get back to pick up my daughter at the bus stop, so at this point the entire trip was a waste. I was told I'd get a call to reschedule, but so far nothing. Frankly I'm not sure I want to go back there again, I was so annoyed. Three months to wait for an appointment only to get a no-show? Darlyne is truly a wonderful reader. She is very gifted, and she definitely won't try to rip you off or take advantage of you. Yes, many times, Darlyne runs late with her appointments and you will have to wait months for an appointment. My husband and I usually go together so to get two appointments together can take a little longer. We usually go 2-3 times a year to see Darlyne, and we've been seeing her on a regular basis for about 6 years I believe. She's wonderful! I went to Darlyne over 3 years ago. There were only 1 or 2 things she said that came true. #1 - was that I was going to move in with my boyfriend (now ex). #2 - I was going to move out shortly after. I did move out because of an rocky relationship (which she did not warn me about). She then said I would move back in with him and that we would get married (which never happened). Since it was so long ago I have forgotten some things but have remembered she told me I would have LARGE babies (which run in mine and my new fiances family, so I'm expecting it). My reading left a lot to be desired. It started off with her not acknowledging me and being on her phone and she ate the whole way through. My reading was strictly card reading which I find to a bit BS, similar to a horoscope, not conclusive and simply interpreted a certain way. She seemed very tired and all over the place. I saw Darlyne almost 2 years ago now. I waited to write this just in case something she said would come true but unfortunately, not one thing she predicted was accurate. She was fun to talk to and had a great personality that made me feel comfortable, but the reading was just not right. She told me very specific things would happen, things that had a timeline, and not only did those things never happen... they were very far off from what did happen. For example, I had just got out of a relationship at the time with someone who was studying abroad and she told me he would come home early because he would get sick, he would come home with a love note for me, he would hate it there, and he would never be able to date another girl because I was the only one for him... well he came home when he was supposed to with a new girlfriend and saying it was the best experience of his life. There were many other examples of this that occurred. I saw Darlyn in Oct 2010...I waited a year before posting my review to give things time to happen. In addition, I did do research on local psychics before choosing Darlyn based on positive reviews. I waited for months for my appointment. And then had to wait 2 more hours in her waiting room. Paid $2 for a cassette that only had about 45 seconds recorded. :( That was annoying. She also told me i would meet a 'David' or a foriegn man probably Italian that would take my mind off the Gemini by October 30th. It's Dec 1st and never happened. I have been seeing Darlyne for almost 2 years now and she is the real deal! I give her no information to go by and she reads me as if she was in my head. I think that you have to be open to the experience in order to gain true light from it. I have read some negative comments here and I think that some people are receptive to this experience and some just are not. I have referred many family and friends to her and they are all blown away at what she has told them. I am amazed at how many things she knew (even the most obscure things). She knew my sister in law was pregnant even before my sister in law knew.
