If I could leave zero stars I would!!!! I purchased the larger magic scent for my house, 2000 sq ft - I like it very much. Then I decided to get the smaller unit, for my mother's apartment, well, this took about 2 hrs to figure out how to use. There were no instructions included and my mom needs something where she can just manually turn the unit on and off. This unit had the on/off switch in the unit. You must open the unit up every time you want to turn it on or off. That's impossible for my mother. Mine has the on/off capability on the outside of the unit this one does not and that was never made clear. Yes it states to be used with the app but I had no idea I could not turn it on and off manually and easily. That should be made very clear and it is not! They have an on/off switch, you just can't get to it easily. I paid $79.95 and requested to return it due to the reasons above, well, they want to know why you are returning it but give you generic reasons that don't apply to me!! So I go through the return, and find out due to all their FEES I will be entitled to a $40 refund, $40! What a joke! Highway robbery and stealing my money, nothing was made clear to the consumer, nothing!! Based on how this product is made I should have gotten my $79.95 returned to me. I will never do business with them again and tell anyone else I know to stay away from them. Thieves. read more

The machine is great when hooked up to the HVAC system, the smell is immediately gone once the machine is turned off. The liquid goes quick so have lots on hand. Honestly their customer service needs help. I placed an order for a refill getting the biggest bottle on a Sunday and wondered why it was taking so long to get to me. I had to contact via email. It took 4 days to get a response from them and then they began sending emails and text messages. I replied to the email but that was not good enough to send the product that they had already charged my card for. They became snotty via email and then text messages they wanted me to confirm my purchase via text. Im sorry but these days I do not do that. I would not have purchased this if I did not want it. They really need help with customer service. Snotty text messages do not get you anywhere. I will not order again from this place because of this. read more

Warning: Do Not Trust This Company I ordered the TMS 100 Portable HVAC Wall Mount (Fully Programmable, 2000 sq.ft, with 70ml Oil Included). After proper setup, the machine ran for over 2 hours but produced no scent at all -- no noticeable fragrance, no results. I contacted the company the next day to request a return, and they informed me there would be a 30% restocking fee, plus an additional $10 charge just to process the credit card refund. Be aware: all the 5-star reviews on their website appear fake and misleading. This company operates dishonestly and shows no concern for customer satisfaction. I purchased my Magic Scent diffuser on April 27, 2025, and was pleased with how quickly it arrived--by April 30, along with a 70ml bottle of the "Heaven" scent, which smelled wonderful. Impressed with the fragrance, I went ahead and ordered the 500ml bottle of the same oil for $153.31 (including taxes and fees). However, by the end of May, I noticed I was going through the oil very quickly, even though I had the device set to long pause times. By June 20th, the scent had completely faded from my home, and I was surprised to find that I had used up an entire bottle in just three days. At this point, the diffuser also stopped emitting the visible mist as it normally did. I unplugged and reset the machine, but the issue persisted. I reached out to customer service via email, and I appreciated that they responded quickly with a phone call. The representative was polite and helpful, and offered to send a replacement tube, suspecting that might resolve the issue. Unfortunately, replacing the tube didn't help. I was then asked to ship the diffuser back for further inspection, at my own expense, which I understood was part of the warranty guidelines. They confirmed receipt of the unit on August 4th, and I received it back on August 12th--but without any accompanying note or explanation. I had to follow up again to understand what had been done, and was informed that there had been a small clog inside the unit, and that the settings were too low. They stated that they had adjusted the settings and attached a manual with troubleshooting and maintenance tips. I appreciated their efforts, and asked if it would be possible to receive a discount on future oil purchases, as I had gone through a large quantity while the unit was malfunctioning. I was informed that a sitewide sale would be starting on August 21st. Unfortunately, even after purchasing a smaller 70ml bottle of oil during the sale, the diffuser still isn't functioning as expected. At this point, despite a significant investment in both the device and the oil, I have a diffuser that I'm unable to use properly. While I do appreciate the initial responsiveness of the customer service team, I'm disappointed that the root issue was not resolved and no accommodations were made for the oil that was consumed while the unit was not working correctly. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving both product performance and customer support experiences in the future. read more

Unethical company. Just know if you're unhappy with the product they will not refund you no matter what their website says. They also will just stop replying to emails when trying to resolve issues. The machine itself is so cheap, stopped working 2 weeks after having it. The scents are nice smelling. Do yourself a favor and use a reputable company that actually honors their policies. read more

I love the rain scent! Easy to use & so is the app! BUT, be aware if you place this on a surface the misting will leave a sticky residue. It actually ruined my wine cabinet so I found a solution on placement. read more

SCAM alert!We ordered the diffuser for 2,000sq ft along with the $10 sample pack (only 1 per household). The sample pack is not anything you can actually use. Just foil packets with a small piece of scented paper. I decided to return the sample packets and the unused diffuser and shipped them back within a week of delivery. I received an email confirming the refund. That was 5 weeks ago. Still waiting on the refund. The return policy is a joke. It states "We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange". Further down the page, you will see "...ALL used scent diffusers must be returned within *************************************** a partial refund ( 30% restocking fee will be deducted ). They also state the customer is responsible for the shipping and the insurance. Basically, if you use the product at all, you're out about 50% of the cost. So you can take it out of the package and look at it, but thats all. You cannot try or test the machine without a significant reduction of the refund. The whole experience was a scam. The "only 1 per household" unuseable sample pack should be free. The word sample implies something that is useable- a smaller version of a product. This is the equivalent of the perfume counter personnel charging $ to smell the perfumes or for the small pieces of paper they are constantly handing out. read more

Very disappointed in both the product and the customer service. I was shopping at Room and Board and liked how the store was scented and the manager shared The Magic Scent contact information. I ordered the F1 Black Classic Diffuser. It arrived yesterday with along with the scent. The unit I was sent will not charge and only works when plugged into an outlet. It's supposed to hold a charge for portability. I called this morning and was told I could ship the unit back - at my own expense they would replace it. The sales rep I spoke to was very disinterested in fixing the problem and didn't seem to care. It should not cost me anything to replace a defective item. I've also called the manager of Room and Board (who have great customer service) to let them know what a bad experience I had with Magic Scent and suggested they no recommend them to other customers. read more
