The open space has a stage and room for about 12-15, 8-seat tables. Actually more tables could probably be placed in the space, but that was the number that was used for the event that I attended. Food was served by a very nice and accommodating staff. The food (baked chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes and a cool salad. For dessert, we had two types of delectable, tasty treats: succulent chocolate cake and bourbon bread pudding. I was really surprised by the flavor of the food. Normally, the food at these types of venues is not flavorful, or tasty and even the texture of the food is not good. Imagine my surprise at delightful, savory nature of the food. I wanted to gorge myself, but decided against it. Anyway, this atmosphere is a nice space for small-to-medium-sized party. What kind of venue isn't already insured? The lack of communication and professionalism was disheartening. My sister got married here last Friday and it was a beautiful wedding... but all the behind the scenes was a disaster. They had scheduled tours for when the bride and groom were having their "first touch" and reading prayers... so there were people talking over them and getting in the way of the PAID photographer and videographer. And they didn't listen when told to lower their voices. Extremely rude and the fact that they didn't tell anyone they were scheduling random people to come in and look while a wedding was taking place was just really unprofessional. It made the bride and groom very upset and honestly made me quite upset too. I understand it's also a shared business space but I saw no one from the other businesses get in the way more than the actual event people. And then they only have five approved caterers. Which makes sense when you under the industry... but why they chose those specific caterers made no sense because of the lack of communication with them was just awful. And one of the caterers never even got back with us after an inquiry. And the one caterer we went with had probably the worst food I've eaten. Like I've had better cafeteria food. And they wouldn't approve of any other vendors, even if they were reputable and had a full staff. Terrible communication. Ridiculous standards. Would never recommend this spot to anyone.

Very willing to help make the event special and help you make your event the way you want it. Everyone was very friendly. The facility has multiple different areas to utilize for tour event. And stairwells on multiple sides of building, which can be useful. In this case, my sister was able to go from the basement (where the dressing rooms are) all the way up two floors to the top floor (where the ceremony was) without anyone on the first or second floor seeing her. Very useful! I'm told the stairwells connect everything throughout the building, so you can move around the whole facility without anyone seeing you, if need be- useful in this case for sure. The DJ was great. The planning team was great. We loved the dance floor area and the bar was very nice and sleek. There is ample parking around the building. It takes a second to find but it's useful. And for your photos before and after a wedding, there are lots of good area nearby. Served in the main house, we enjoyed The main house has several floors and includes a library that you can just sit, read and enjoy the beautiful room and ambiance. It is next to Louisville's central park, which we took a brief walk through. It's very close to downtown so you could walk but it's recommended you drive it uber to your destination. Definitely recommend at least an overnight visit and maybe a weekend stay if you have anything going on in Louisville or the immediate area.
