Hiring Kristi and Stacey was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I never wear makeup and my hair is only ever in a ponytail, so I was kind of nervous about getting my hair and makeup done. That all went away at my trial with them. I learned about Kristi and Stacey after soliciting hair and makeup recommendations on Facebook, and the selling point was definitely the comment that "[t]hey are amaaaaazing...and super fun to hang out with on your big day." Truer words have never been spoken, because these are two of the most amazing and wonderful ladies that I had the pleasure of working with both before and on our wedding day! Not gonna lie, I was basically dragged, kicking and screaming, to the hair and makeup trial. Within 5 minutes of arrival, Kristi and Stacey had calmed me down, looked at my Pinterest page to see what I envisioned for my big day, and started working their magic. I have to say, they nailed it! When I walked out of that trial, my hair and makeup were flawless, and I felt so beautiful and even more excited for the actual wedding day. When the actual day arrived, Kristi, Stacey, and a third hairstylist named Leela came and set up in our hotel room next door to LJWC (which incidentally seemed much smaller once we had 10+ ladies in it at any given moment). Of course the first bridesmaid scheduled was running late, but Kristi grabbed the step-mother of the groom (who was a late addition) and got her done in what seemed like an instant. They kept us on schedule and were incredibly flexible when the maid of honor suddenly decided her normal makeup routine wasn't good enough. I got married in August and still have nightmares about my wedding hair.... I really liked Kristi and Shelby as people and they were very sweet but my hair for my wedding was a complete disaster. I had a trial with them, provided pictures, gave a detailed description of what I wanted. They came to my house for the trial and the first hair style that Shelby did was horrible and not at all what I wanted, she ended up reworking it until I was happy and I decided to hire them for myself and my bridesmaids because they were willing to listen, I had been searching for a hairstylist within my price range for months and I was only about a month away from my wedding. On the day of the wedding things went ok initially but Shelby told me that she was actually working another wedding in the afternoon and had to rush out. Needless to say this totally affected my hairstyle because when I wasn't happy she didn't really have time to fix anything. She finished at noon, my wedding was at 4 and my hair started basically falling out as soon as they left. By one pm it was a mess and my bridesmaids were trying to keep up with all of the strands falling out. I called my wedding planner and asked her to call them and have one of them come back to help fix it. By the time I got to the site of the ceremony my hair was literally falling into my face and my wedding planner informed me that since they were going to another wedding there was no way that they could come back. I can only assume that because I had paid them before hand they were not inclined to come back and provide good service. My bridesmaids and wedding planner tried their best to make sure that my hair looked good but in the pictures it looks like a sloppy mess. I am so disappointed and in my pictures I can't help but see how my hair looks absolutely ridiculous. I am giving a 2 star review instead of a 1 star because for the most part my bridesmaids hair looked great. I wish that my experience had been better and from other reviews it looks like the makeup side of the business is great but please please save your self from my pain and don't hire them to do you hair. read more

I used her services not once, not twice, but three times (!) over the course of 6 months, an engagement photo session, a family photo session, and finally my wedding.
