She encouraged us to book a full appointment, so we did. We then had a 90-minute appointment that consisted mostly of discussing our daughter's medical history and current health issues, but no treatment plan or concrete recommendations were provided. The only action taken was ordering a blood draw. It took a full week just to receive the requisition form, something our other doctors always provide the same or next day. When the requisition finally arrived, we noticed tests were ordered that we had specifically said were not needed (such as cortisol and thyroid panels), because our daughter's endocrinologist regularly monitors those. After the blood draw, communication essentially stopped. We emailed a week later asking if results had been received and also asked for guidance ordering a stool test, mentioning that we wanted to schedule our next appointment once that was done and also mentioning that our daughter isn't doing well. We never received any reply. Even after blood results were available and uploaded in our patient portal, there was no follow-up, and no review of the findings, even though there were some abnormal blood markers. The office simply never contacted us again. Given the lack of communication, lack of guidance, and absence of a treatment plan, we cannot recommend this provider. We felt our daughter was ultimately abandoned without any follow-through despite her not feeling well and our attempt to move forward with care.

As someone on a fixed income; this MATTERS. Aloha original review: I was excited to see Dr. Lipat from her website, reviews etc. but was very disappointed when I actually saw her in person ...WHY? Because she says she is a chiropractor as well as energy healing, etc.--so I expected a more thorough evaluation and varied treatment. But after telling her I had a health challenge and was just coming off traditional treatment, wanting to get my energy back, and that my neck was out and hurting...she informed me she only does mainly 'energy healing' now. So, I lay down for her session, only to realize she was reading a form, doing vague muscle testing and going down a list I assume was for every patient. She checked what was good/not etc from that. She READ prepared affirmations then, for an hour? Then sprayed me with some Bach flower remedies. All I got out of this very $$$ (170.00) hour was a guided meditation I could have done at home. I gave her a hug and HOPED somehow she DID something. I love alternative medicine, am a retired surgeon who grew up in Hawaii and used Chinese Medicine al through College, Japanese magnets from Mom, herbs etc all my life--and energy healing too. I can FEEL energy healing and got ZERO from Dr. Lipat. So I waited 3 weeks, as she said it takes time to 'assimilate'. NOTHING. Dr. Lipat must educate herself more about my type health challenge as many of the items she said were good for me were NOT. High glycemic things, under cardiac/hormones she wrote 'hormones'--which means WHAT? Helping Foods? Many HIGH starches, glycemic foods that FEED my disease, Some of the BEST herbs were not checked at all, rec's high starches were recommended...etc etc etc. I feel, IMHO, that her personal do's and don't are imprinted to sway her testing because SO MANY of what she said were 'bad' are NOT for what I have. But common consensus says they are. (Ex: all nightshade veggies are bad) Whole grains 3/day? WTF? This FEEDS my disease! And what was good was not mentioned, what was BAD was recommended! She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and so so talkative ! I appreciate that she was able to provide an example of what I should expect before starting with my results AND the pain . The process itself was super fast ! My brows were done in like 2-3 minutes and my shoulder was done in 5 ! Not gonna lie, it's very true when they say a tattoo removal hurts a lot more than the tattoo itself but Kristine made me so comfortable , it's worth it PLUS the pain is only bad for a couple minutes !
