Location wise, it's convenient but doesn't have beautiful views unlike Darling Harbour and other popular areas. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are accommodating. Sebel Suites also offers long term accommodation. There is plenty of public transport nearby, making sightseeing very easy. Parking is also available (at a cost) and is great for those who have driven interstate or who have rented a hire car.The hotel/apartments are not suitable for a romantic weeknight. My family and I stayed here for a week or two upon returning to Australia after 9 years living overseas. The central position allowed us to visit family and friends, go house hunting and do odd jobs. It was a little expensive but was very convenient. We could also do the shopping and with plenty of entertainment nearby, we had lots to do and see. Sebel Suites is most suitable to those conducting business in the North Shore area. The hotel is also a short 15 minute train trip to Sydney CBD. If you want a view, it is best to book a room on the top floors. Otherwise you will most likely have a view of the train station or other high rise buildings. Within our apartment we had a washer and dryer which was a major positive. The rooms were also very spacious.

The blanket and pillow were heavenly - made it really difficult to want to get out of bed. I'm only 5 foot 2, so I was able to move about no problem. I spoke to someone else staying there that was almost 6 feet and he said he had no problems moving about either. The TV was Android TV, so pretty useless. There was a universal outlet in the capsule - a nice touch. And there is a big locker to store your stuff. Pro tips: bring your own towel and toiletries, or buy them from reception (A$8 for towel+toiletries+ear plugs set). Also, because you're inside a completely enclosed capsule, it's hard to tell the time of day and no window or sunlight to naturally wake you up. So bring an alarm.

The place is great, we got the one bedroom apartment and as an added bonus we also had the washer/dryer combo in the room so one doesn't need to bring too much clothes as you can do your own wash. One of the downside of a combo washer/dryer, you actually have to hang your clothes to fully dry. The room was work great for us as the kitchen/living room turned into another room at night utilizing the sofa bed. The wait staff was friendly. There was a restaurant but we didn't eat there as there were many places to grab some grub. One of my complain will be the parking garage, I must not be a good driver since I can't navigate the tight turns. I had to back out a few turns since I can't make the rental car fit the opening. I am glad I wasn't driving a SUV because I would have damaged it for sure. The establishment was near Sydney and there was a shopping center within a ten minute drive. I would definitely stay here again but with a smaller car.

The room was long and, with the shades up, very bright and clean. The bed was perfectly made and very comfy. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a large shower that had amazing water pressure. Housekeeping came everyday and brought fresh towels and made the bed. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, considering my first impression was not the best. The hotel is perfectly located on George St., close to the CBD and diagonally across from the Central Terminal where buses and trains pass through. It's a 15 minute walk to the Sydney Tower and 25 minute walk to Darling Harbour / King Street Wharf where you'll find tons of restaurants, a mall, and the Sea Life Aquarium, Zoo and Madam Tousauds.
