I just moved from Mount Vernon - Bellingham - Everett - to here in Granite Falls area about 2 years ago, I am new to the area entirely and I found this green building with an open sign and during the two years I've lived here I've been contemplating whether to go in and I've seen the reviews and I've seen their website....the prices don't seem bad but so far I'm only enjoying the Cormorant Sorbet in all flavors, just to save my throat and skin because I used to roll my own joints and it takes a definite toll on your #1 organ. So I finally go in and everyone there is extremely bubbly and nice and I literally feel like I'm being served as a majesty....ive been in about 5-6 times so far and it's always a great 3min quick convo pay and leave....so I guess I'm not the type of person to expect people to be at my beck and call and I don't expect people to be nice....EVER...I can only control me so I really don't understand the negative reviews on here it just doesn't equate to my experience and I think if anyone reads this review just know that I totally approve of this place and I think it has some of the highest customer service compared to about 20 other stores I've tried in the last 5 years. I awoke in a foul temper early this morning and it seemed every encounter I had made it worse. By the time I managed to get to roots I was downright pissed off at the world. I entered the store and being in such a mood I was not inclined towards any friendly interactions and was pretty near as hostile as I get without a sixpack in me but was still treated with respect and courtesy. Before I'd even left my attitude and day had damn near reversed entirely and I haven't even had a chance to smoke yet. You guys rock! read more

I agree with the other reviews that the staff is very friendly but it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch. I purchased a product called "Purple Panty Dropper" and the cashier commented that she doesn't wear panties. I'm not sure why she thought it was appropriate to tell me that but I let it go. When I got home and tried the product it tasted and like a burning tire. I went back the next day and the same cashier was working to I let her know that I wasn't happy. Her first comment was "it's an open market you get what you get". I pointed out the the packaging doesn't allow me to smell the products so I have to trust her judgement. Her next comment was "I didn't sell it to you" but I reminded her that she did. Her final comment was "Well I'm sorry you didn't like it" but it was obvious that she didn't care at all. She could have offered me a discount on another product or additional points on their reward program but all I got from her was attitude so I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I will never shop at local roots Granite Falls again. For the last few months everytime I used their online menu either they didn't have the product and nothing close to what I ordered or they would make an excuse that the menu wasn't right or the latest excuse was there was a new operating system. Today I ordered some edibles. There were 10 candies for $5 but when I got there I was told they don't have that. They then tried to sell me the same flavor and type, 10 per package for $10. Yes, twice the price for the exact candies that were on line menu for $5. I will drive those extra miles so that I don't have to be cheated by Local Roots read more

Great selection but I think Project M has one of the best products and it is very well hand trimmed. The staff is knowldgable.
